I was hoping to watch a story about a great comeback by MJ. What I saw was a Washed Up singer desperate and scared. It is clear that everyone around him had been told to stroke him to keep him going. Everyone around him treated him like a ten year old. The director did a great job of walking on glass to keep MJ up and confident. I would love to see the non-disclosure agreement that everyone involved was required to sign. Think about, no stories from the other artists have surfaced.

This was a GREAT captivating movie. It's as if you're a fly on the wall watching the MASTER Artist create. Michael's voice WAS AMAZING!!! In the theater people were applauding, laughing, snapping their fingers and crying. I loved it!

Michael Jacksin is a truly amazing person and with such icredible talent!!! I was in awe through the entire show and got goosebumps at times...the music, the dancing, Michael's kindness, humor, laughter...he was truly a gift to all the world!!! He cared for those who worked for him and he wanted his musicians and dancers to shine - this was their moment also!! We have lost what would have the been the most unbelievable entertaining and mesmerizing performance of a lifetime, but thanks to this movie, and most of all Michael Jackson, we have his true personality, his dance moves, his music, and his songs to watch and listen forever!! Michael Jackson's "This Is It" WOW! What can I say? It was incredible! It's amazing to see someone with enormous talent doing what he does best: dancing, singing, creating, inspiring, teaching, etc. Kenny Ortega did a great job captruing the real MJ and letting us see his human side as well as his amazing talent. A very moving movie, it makes me sad to think he's gone. His memory will live forever. A must see! Makes you want to dance! I am inspried to be a better person.

Well, what can be said that hasn't already been said. I found this doc to be so inspiring. I expected to feel sad mostly, and did only because it's a shame we lost him so soon. But MJ really lifts you up. He makes you want to be a better person. One thing that struck me was how ALIVE he was during rehearsals. HE was ALIVE. Not sickly looking, not aloof, not "out of it"...ALIVE. So impressive. What a lovely soul the world has lost. Darn shame. I also want to mention all the dancers and musicians on the stage with him. FANTASTIC. And if they don't inspire you to strive and be your best at something, then you must be dead inside. HIGHLY recommend.

It was so awesome to see that Michael still had all of his signature moves & more. His voice was still amazing as ever. It was bittersweet. I would have much rather have heard how well his concerts in England were going but through this movie we we able to watch the King of Pop in action. I was prepared for it to be sad but it was anything but, until you walked out of the theater realizing, "This is It." I am going to see it again & taking my daughter next time.

What the movie presents is the "backstage" view of the production that had not quite made it to a full dress rehearsal. I looked for signs of aging or debility in this 50 year old man. There were none! He was quick, smooth, aggressive and precise in his dance moves and vocals. He encompassed the grace of Astaire, athleticism of Kelly, agility of Sammy Davis and aggressiveness of James Brown. His voice (when he occasionally went full out) also demonstrated the lilt of innocence with that underlying tinge of anger. In any event, there is a certain sadness. After watching this extended rehearsal session, it makes you long for the actual full performance; which of course is not to be. Bitter sweet indeed.

I was glued to Michael the entire time!! I'm STILL too excited to give it a proper review and go into details, but I ended up sobbing at the end, right as the scene froze with Michael in it...I cried thorugh the entire thing ...I thought the part with Earth Song was so beautiful, and the Thriller was so scary!! It was going to be SOOO AWESOME!! BETTER than the original Thriller. His presence througout the entire movie was SO....THERE. The entire time I felt like it was all going to happen, and when it was over, and I was reminded it wasn't really going to happen, and that he wasn't really here anymore, I think that was the moment I realized, and started sobbing.

I took my grandchildren to see this show. All rated it very high, loved the music, I left with a new found respect for MJ. I never knew what a truly talented man he was. That means he's accomplished crossing 3 generations!

This Is It is just simply amazing. I was never a huge MJ fan. I liked his music ok, but would never have stood in lines to go see him. This movie made me realize what a genius the man was, how much incredible inate talent he had, and how unbelievably sad it is he's not going to get the opportunity to show the world, once again, his magic. I went to see it because I was curious if he really looked so frail and ill. He doesn't. He keeps up with 20 something dancers every step of the way, and they clearly idolize him. He was going to knock it out of the park. I am really glad we get the opportunity to see him at work. It's a don't miss film.

I was never a huge Michael Jackson fan, but I am now. I thought I was going to see some 3rd rate rehersal footage. Instead, it was like being at a Michael Jackson concert, and a truly excellent one at that. It's been a long time since I've gone to see a move more than once, but I am going to see this one again. Truly excellent. Also, it dispels many of the rumors about his persona, health, etc. Recommending it to everyone I know.

I will see this movie as many many many times as I possibly can in the next 2 weeks. It is not only a tribute to the talent of Michael, it is an image of his sensitivity and humanity.
His connection and respect for everyone in his company is astounding.....he is sensitive, honest, kind and respectful to all of them.
He obviously was having a great time with the rehersals for this project and it came through every second.

I found the movie quite impressive. MJ still has the moves (especially when he danced to Bilie Jean) and I think if he had been able to do the show in London it would have been quite impressive, moving and pushing the creative envelope. I also liked seeing Mj interact with his collaborators - it showed him to be endearing, humble, fun to work with and extremely nice to everyone. As well as being very focused and definitely knowing exactly what he wanted which he articulated well. In the end it was just so so sad that he is not with us anymore. A talented, extraordinary human being but at the same time very human.

Thank you for making this movie. It was like seeing Michael live in concert - only better because you saw how he interacted with the directors, choreographers, dancers and musicians. I know the movie was made mostly to recoup money lost, but thank you for making it. It helps keep our beloved Michael alive forever. He looked and sounded so good. He sure didn't look like someone who was about to die and he shouldn't have died. We'll miss him forever.

Insight into a great entertainer and musician. He really was a perfectionist and I can see where he might have been difficult to work with but he knew what he wanted and how he wanted it. He really could feel the music and knew if you were one beat off. His show would have been the most detailed explosion of entertainment and art had he not died so unexpectedly. For a man with that much energy and life in the days before his death.... MJ, entertainer, musician, dance phenom, singer, choriographer, song writer....an amazing man.

Very entertaining.Showed Michaels great talent in his ability to feel the music by displaying his vocals simultaneously while he danced. Also showed the dancers of this is it great dancing talents and back up singing. The special effects in some scenes, (Thriller) were awesome!! Would encourage all MJ fans to see it. Also bought the sound track of this movie and love the much more songs and special poem , Planet Earth MJ reads on the second CD.

It is nearly impossible to sit still watching this movie, such great music. I felt like I was right there in front of him watching him sing and dance. Very interesting to see how Michael would prepare for a show and how creative he is. Just an amazing movie, I didn't want it to end.

Being in the entertainment business for over 20 years, I was truly amazed at the passion and skills of MJ and his, at the time, upcoming concert. Truly a remarkable honor to be able to see such a wonderful artist. The movie captures MJ at his best, and the music is phenomenal!!

I have been waiting to see this film, and was not disappointed at all. It was so great to see MJ as a normal person, it just validated his humanity honesty and talent. It was very emotional, if he could have actually done this concert, it would have been the mother of all concerts, amazing. I felt when I left the theater that MJ was a deeply caring person with whatever he was dealing with, either the dancers, musicans, the enviroment and his family/children. I think people who are on the fence about MJ need to see this movie so they can see the real him.
