Silly fun! Not knowing what to expect we were delighted with this movie. Clever lines, wonderful characters and laughter at every turn of the page. Didn't know where the story was going but it never mattered because you were carried away with the fun of it. We want to see it again because we know we missed something charming. The new phrase in our house - "Tidy your waffle". Now you need to see it to find out what it means.

We laughed ourselves silly along with everyone else in the audience, from teenagers to retirees. Clearly the work of creative geniuses, A Town Called Panic benefits from a veneer of crude animation and manic voices. In fact, the animation is so visually compelling that many of the laughs derive directly from the action. And the voices are dead-on. If you have a good ear for comic delivery, you would appreciate this film on the radio. If you want to laugh, see a Town Called Panic. -=wsh

The fact that the claymation figures were speaking French didn't faze them in the least. They thought it was hysterical. As in many movie-length versions of TV cartoons, a story line was created to hold things together, and as in many of those projects, the arc of a long story conflicted with its slapstick heart. But the movie is worth seeing because it's really funny.
