I took my 6 and 4 year old daughters to this movie and they enjoyed it greatly. I found that it was much more enjoyable to the children unlike many animated films lately that were just as enjoyable to adults. Would not go watch this movie without children.

I have not laughed so hard in such a long time. It had humor for many different levels, the effects were wonderful, the content deals with everyday "human" struggles. This will definitely be a purchased DVD when the time comes! Please go see it and enjoy!

The old blue/red 3D glasses gave me migraines. The new, True 3D is a wonderful experience, as I now get the whole point of why HD is so great. I thought something like this was just something I could watch at Disney World. Most animation should be this way, though I love the classic Mickey's. The story was fun, the jokes were funny. We had a great time! I would have liked to see a few meatballs (or hot dogs, or steaks) flying out of the screen at our heads, as I debated before hand cooking pasta to throw at my kids when this happened to enhance the experience. Glad i didn't, as nothing truly "popped out of the screen" at us. Overall, a Fun Movie

This was a very well done movie with a good message for the kids and adults about over consumption.
My only complaint would be there wasn't much 3D effects to justify calling it a 3D picture.

This was a great movie!! Much better than expected going in. 3D was nicely done but not overly done. I took my 10 year old daughter and we both laughed through out the entire movie. A couple of minor "touching" moments between Father and Son or one character to another but other than that it was an all funny never boring movie. We both agreed that two older siblings and Mom would have loved it just as much. In fact daughter had Mom laughing just from telling her about it. Steve was the best!! "Lick, lick, lick, lick".

I took my 8 year to this movie and she loved it. I too liked the underlying messages in the movie....the love and bonding between a father and son. I was pleasantly surprised and delighted to see this meaning played out between an African-American father and his son! I also liked the fact that the movie encourages kids to follow their dream, love themselves for who they are and also warning against the dangers and destructive effects of excess, greed and over eating. Applause to the writers and producers!
