My wife and I both very much enjoyed this movie. A heartwarming story, very well written and acted, and made credible through its basis in fact. Not so sure it displaces my top five sports movies, but certainly moves up the memorable list into my personal top ten.

Go see this movie. You will NOT be disappointed. You WILL leave the theater inspired. This true story doesn't just focus on football as one might expect, so those fearful that it's a run-of-the-mill sports movie, fear NOT! As I sat down for my second viewing (in a sold out audience I might add), I learned the person next to me was there for their 3rd time. It's that good.

This movie starts and ends with the same fast paced, high spirited, and wonderfully acted scenes. The 2 hours went by so smoothly. It is a great story and superbly acted by Sandra Bullock. Tim McGraw wasn't too shabby either. He proved he can perform with or without his black cowboy hat!

This is a film that definitely renews one's faith in humanity. Growing up in the racially charged South, I understand very well the division of race and how it affects people. To see this family take in and accept as their own child, this remarkable young man, truly warms the heart. In spite of the extreme poverty and the troubled home that he came from, this young man made a wonderful life for himself.
The Tuohy's should be commended for going against the grain and following their hearts and consciences. The gift of their love and providing for Michael Oher truly touched me. I would recommend this film highly, and I plan to purchase it when it becomes available.

I enjoyed the movie because it shows that regardless of the color of skin the Tuohy's saw a young man in need and they stepped up to the challenge.
This movie destroys education stereotypes because with the proper resources all kids can do well in school. It also shows the destruction of the family structure due to crack cocaine & violence and if we the people don't see our young people regardless of race as the future and try to set better examples for them we are all in trouble.

Touching story, which I am a sucker for. Very well acted especially by Sandra Bullock. My 11 year old daughter was fascinated when she realized it was a real story. Interesting contrast to similar subject matter in "Precious" (which I also really liked, but would advise against bringing anyone under 18).

This movie made me laugh and cry. It's a wonderful story and Sandra Bullock is amazing in this role. I also thought Tim McGraw did a very good job. But the one who steals the show is Jae Head as S.J. He reminds me of Jonathan Lipnicki in his younger years. This movie will not disappoint.

A surprisingly good movie. My wife, in-laws, and 10 year old son all enjoyed the show. Ladies, bring some kleenex..... Sandra Bullock was great and you won't recognize Tim McGraw as the CW singer unless someone tells you which character he is. A true "feel good" movie that is both funny and heartwarming.
