I enjoyed the movie because it shows that regardless of the color of skin the Tuohy's saw a young man in need and they stepped up to the challenge.
This movie destroys education stereotypes because with the proper resources all kids can do well in school. It also shows the destruction of the family structure due to crack cocaine & violence and if we the people don't see our young people regardless of race as the future and try to set better examples for them we are all in trouble.

Avatar is a great movie from the special effects to the great story line with the the message of taking care of the planet you live on. Being respectful of different cultures and be open to what you may learn from those cultures instead of destroying them.
