Blind Side was a great movie for anyone to go see! I attended with friends and we all enjoyed it very much. I then went to my sister's house and told 3 more people about it immediately following the movie.
It was a great story, uplifting and inspiring! A great family friendly movie for young and old. Go see BLIND SIDE!

Sandra Bullock was perfect for this role and Tim McGraw is quite the supporting actor! The little boy was the best I've ever seen and the daughter is very believable. There was not one boring minute in this movie! I'm telling everyone to see it!

Can't believe some of the cynical comments I have seen in some of the reviews especially from the "movie critics". This movie is really about Leigh Anne Tuohy and if not for her there would be no story. That said she and her family gave Michael Oher the opportunity to succeed and he did just that. What a remarkable person he must be and I would like to see a movie with more focus on him as well.
Sadly what I feel might be missing here is the part faith in Christ mostly likely played in this story. Didn't read the book so I don't know but I suspect there could have been more emphasis on that in the real story.
All in all a great story about a wonderful young man and mom and family who loved him. Bravo!!!

Just a really well done movie and cast. The actor that played Michael Oher was fantastic and Sandra Bullock is alway stellar - but you definitely saw a different side of her acting abilities which was great! The little boy's character, SJ - really stole your heart. GREAT MOVIE!

In one word - heartwarming. If more people were like this family, the world would be a better place. Being based on a true story, there are people out there that are like that, it's not impossible, we all just need to see that. I love Sandra Bullock anyway - but she deserves an award for her role in this movie. As someone else wrote, during the movie, it wasn't really what she said, it was so many of the things she didn't say.

This movie was surprisingly wonderful. I challenge every rich Christian (which is pretty much ALL of us) to watch this movie and prayerfully consider taking someone into their home. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:34-36 - 34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’"

Sandra Bullock played an amazing woman with a lot of personality. Every woman in that theatre I know was thinking they wished they had a little of her in them, I know I was. All the actors just did a great job. The movie was hilarious, heart warming, over all completely excellent. My husband was like "it was good, but it was completely predictable, like the other movies like this one" and I said, "but it's a true story, this really happened" and he said, "ohh sweet, well then it was a good movie!!" the fact that it is a true story really makes the movie. I would have still liked it if it wasn't though because you just have to see this woman Sandra plays, I'm telling you, she is awesome!! Go see it!!!!

You kind of knew what to expect going in, but the progression of how the story unfolded made the journey even more endearing. Hancock should be commended on his ability for bringing out the best in his actors. The respect afforded to Michael by his newly adopted family in allowing him to open up a little at a time showed their depth of humanity, while still noting those doubts we all experience, was a poignant testimony to the vastness of the human heart. Sandra Bullock was captivating more so for what she didn't say than for what she did. Her superb acting abilities and the simple body movements and looks were utterly priceless in conveying the story line from a deeper perspective. All that I can say in closing is: "What a Success"!

We loved this movie. It doesn't seem to sugar coat anything, and really lets you see the feelings of the characters. Everyone was really cast well. The entire theater laughed at the same time and seemed to really enjoy the movie!
