I absolutely loved this movie! It makes you laugh and cry. I have to admit I haven't been liking too many of Sandra Bullocks movies lately, however, she did an excellent job in this one. Its a must see for the whole family to enjoy.

The story, the acting, the cinematography, the writing are all top notch. Fabulous casting, interesting how many of the actors are physically similar to the true life characters. Thank you John Lee Hancock (twice) and Michael Lewis.

There just aren't enough ways to properly praise this film. The true story it's based on, the script, the moments of hysterical humor mixed with the moments of deepest pathos, Sandra Bullock's OUTSTANDING acting (she truly does deserve an Oscar for this; her acting's always been underrated), the acting of everyone ELSE in the film (especially the kid, SJ--he is amazing). This movie will tickle your funnybone & tug mightily at your heartstrings. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Anyone who dislikes this film should seek professional help.

The movie was wonderful! We had been so excited for it to be released, especially since we had walked out of "All About Steve" - so stupid! This shows that Hollywood CAN make a good family friendly movie with a wonderful theme and no nudity, violence or obscene language, and the public will eat it up! Sandra Bullock has my vote at Oscar time for best actress.
