God really moved on the heart of the family that took Mike in. They were a true example of helping others that just need a hand. There are tons of bright and intelligent young men and women that just need someone to step up to the plate and share the resources that God has blessed them with.

The movie was inspiring. Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw were great - well casted overall. Really highlights the need for us to figure out how to help children who start at such a disadvantage simply because they do not have anyone to love and care for them. Went to the movie with my husband, our daughter (21) and our son (16) and we all loved it. Will be one we own.

Excellent movie and funny as well. Based on a true story - doesn't matter if you like football or not. Sandra Bullock should get an academy award nomination and the movie also nominated for Best Picture. We need more movies like this - mostly wholesome and unusual true life story.

Saw it not knowing it was a true story. When at the end they showed the real family I was overwhelmed that this story was being told. I did not see race or color as the issue as much as I saw one person making a difference - stepping out of their comfort zone. Viewed it on New Year's Eve and it gave me a whole new perspective for writing my own personal goals in the new year. A WINNER of a MOVIE

Movietickets.com over booked. They took my online payment for 3 tickets on New years Eve, but there were no seats for us and one other couple. We are very dissapointed with this service. We sat in Lobby for 1 more hour (new yrs eve) waiting to see Sherlock Holmes instead. That was a good movie.

I had no idea who michael oher was until this movie came out! What an inspirational story and a moving one at that. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Can honestlt say that I wish the movie was an hour longer!!! (2 hr 6 min already) doesn't hurt that Bullock makes a hot blonde!!!
