I went to this movie with one of my girlfriends & my husband. After watching the TV series with my husband, seeing the first SATC movie with him, I had to agree with him, we found SATC 2 to have been a "little" disappointing. Although, it was quite entertaining and Samantha was hysterical at times, it lacked something. With that said....I would go see it, I just wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

I saw this movie with 3 girlfriends and our spouses. We were all disappointed. Personally, I think it fell flat in every regard. The clothes weren't all that great, the story line, albeit funny in spots, drug on and was far too predictable. In short, I'm sorry I went and would not recommend this movie to my friends.

These were not the same "girls" that fans were used to relating to and rooting for.
The situations that they placed themselves in felt forced and contrived. In an effort to be more upbeat and fun; this sequel actually ended up being to "cute" for it's own good!

Funny movie. The scene with Charlotte and Miranda brought me to tears. The gay wedding made me smile. I completely related to Carrie's search for identity in marriage and Miranda's new sexist boss. It seems there are a lot more of those or is is just me. Samantha's menopause issues are hilarious but I'm totally over her over the top sexuality. What she can't keep it in her pants and be respectful?

It was fun but way over the top! I think they spent too little time dealing with their lives, which is why we love the fab 4, and too much time on glitz and glamour. The clothes were so outrageous. It was fun watching them get kicked out of the ridiculous suite they were staying at...a dose of reality for the divas!! All in all, it was a fun night out, but I don't see any Oscars in their future.

Saw this movie with my boyfriend- who didn't really want to go. We both laughed through the movie. Great scenes, great comments and FUNNY! The movie story line was a bit weaker than the series and the first movie. It was more glitz, glam and fashion than focus on the actual relationships between the 4 girls and their partners, which is what captivated all of America to fall in love w/ Carrie! Dont get me wrong- all 4 had their usually quirky comments and dilemas but it felt a little less unrelatable/real and more predictable/staged....That being said I still enjoyed the movie and would recommend everyone to atleast see it once. It's an event to go to with your girlfriends! You will be inspired by the fashion and laugh out loud! It's a bit long and I think the ending was the most fun! Everyone I spoke to always teared up at the first movie. The sequel is not as emotionally impactfull but still witty, funny & a good time! Enjoy.............

I thought the writers were going overboard, from the "costumes" , or so called fashion to the Karoake scene....Once upon a time you could put yourself in these womens shoes, but this time was way off course. Since when does Miranda have all these FANCY clothes. She usually wears a mans shirt and slacks??? I just didn't get it! It needed more story line and less fashion. Though a certified "chick flick," went to see this with my wife. We both enjoyed the TV series and the first movie. The situations, dialogue and opulence of the surroundings maintained interest and made the experience of seeing this movie entertaining. No Academy Award winner but not intended to be. OMG! this movie was so fun! i had my cosmo b4 the movie and really got into it. the fashions were fabulous and although the movie started slowly and was longer than expected, it was fun and i laughed quite a bit. i was disappointed that carrie and aiden did not have more to their rendezvous, but i was glad that charlotte finally got it! the girls have all aged, but are still sexy, samantha is as hot as ever and carrie never changes! love it!

I think the movie had some very good scenes. I love the carrie and big story, however, they should have had more on the other girls. This movie is not called the carrie and big story. It's about all four girls and that's what it should have shown. I am a very very big fan of Sex and The City. I love very much they are continuing to make the movies, but they should have more of the other three girl's lives as well as Carrie. And, where did Smith go? I have been a fan for so long. I enjoyed the first movie, but this one was just okay. Kind of slow moving in parts, a very weak story line, and just not what I would have expected. But it had some great lines in it, loved the clothes, and I did enjoy seeing the girls again but although I really miss the series, somethings are just better left alone.

You see the characters working through obstacles in their lives and having common ordinary flaws and doubts about their relationships while trying to make their own rules and definitions in traditional roles. Carrie tries to be Mrs Preston while maintaining true to her identity as Carrie Bradshaw. Charlotte gets overwhelmed being a mother that she obesses over something that isn't even there. Miranda finds herself at odds with her boss and decides to embrace life outside of the offices. Samantha has returned to her single life and makes no apologies for who she is a single, sexual, menopausal woman. All in all, it deals with lifes common obstacles and can be a reflection in the lives of those in the audience. It may not be a feel good movie the entire time but it is a reflection of the lives of women.

I do not have HBO so never did get to enjoy the show but watched a lot of older episodes on regular TV... Love the humor and the characters. Rented the first movie and really lilked it so when a girlfriend arranged for a girls night out with dinner/wine and Part 2, i was all geared up. Was a perfect night out!!! Very intertaining. KEpt us laughing out loud the entire time. Was great to see the City girls turn a new corner but still be "THE GIRLS" Grab your friends and hit the theatre.

I have been a fan of SATC since the begining. The first movie I felt was more of a drama instead of a comedy. I felt the topics in the first were more heavy then light. The second movie was more of a comedy. It was nice to see that Samantha was more of her old self. Which I felt was lacking in the first. It reminded me of the earlier seasons, when it was funny. It is a definant must see for all. GREAT JOB!!!!

I had such high expectations for this movie, but left the theater dissappointed. I loved the fashions and Liza's show, but felt the story was weak.
