I didn't think the second could come close to being as good as the first but was pleasantly surprised!! Though the storyline is unlikely and Carrie does get whiney in one part... the movie was sooooo worth 2.5 hours of my life and $11!! I enjoyed most of the movie. I thought it was too long and there wasn't anything that they couldn't have cut to make it shorter. I didn't like the part where Samantha insulted the beliefs of the Arab men in regards to women and how they should act/dress in public. I think that was unnecessary and not funny. Overall, I liked it but I won't be buying it. As it always seems to go...the first was better than the sequel.

Me and six of my besties made it a girlz nite out. Loved it. I love Carie and Big because they remind me of myself and my Big. Samantha is a hoot and we have one of those, lol. Charlotte finally wasn't so perfect and I loved what the directors did with here role. Maranda for some reason was dynamic throughout the entire movie. I love those girlz and its more than sitting fantasing over the glam and shoes, and i love shoes, but when Samantha says, throught it all were soul mates...and she couldn't have said it better because they are. They fight and make up just like real friends who know they cant live without eachother, just like me and my besties and all our friendships are 20 to 30 plus years, and we all are soul mates!!!

I had heard lots of bad reviews before I went, and I was almost reluctant to go. BUT, if you are a fan of the show, and someone who can appreciate women's issues, it's GREAT. They always snuck in funny comments and the movie is just continuously entertaining. I went in with low expectations but was blown away by how much fun I was having watching it!! Go see it with some girlfriends and enjoy yourself.

I was a SATC fan. Always have been. I thought the series ended perfectly. No one was left wondering. And then they made the first movie. And I was so worried that they would ruin what was so great. And surprisingly they didn't. HOWEVER, it is so clear from minute #1 that they did not even TRY to really make a sequel. They simply made a movie to make money because they could. The acting is bad, the jokes are cheesy and unintelligent. And the plot. This movie left a bad taste for SATC in my mouth.

The movie was alright. It did have the essence of the show, but I was sad that it didn't seem so much as an ensemble as the Carrie and Samantha show. My favorite part featured just Charlotte and Miranda briefly, but it was really heartwarming. I will say the movie was funny but at the end it just got silly. I am glad I saw it, but I would have to say that if the movie was on tv or dvd and I had to leave in the middle, I am not sure if I would turn it back on.

My best friends of years and my sister went to see this movie and we all loved it! Some of us thought is was better than the first one and some thought this movie was better. Went and saw Sex and the City 2 with my girlfriend. Now I will say I didn't think it was as good as the first, but I still loved it. I love the way the girls interact with each other and the way they have all grown up (with the exception of Samantha, who I don't think ever will). There were some scenes that might have been better left out, buy hey I didn't think it hurt the movie. I love these women and will continue to visit them often.

ok, not that kind of movie that is going to win any academy awards but if you want to have a night out with your girlfriends and have some fun and laughs, this is the movie to see. It was just another of the fun and entertaining adventures of the ladies I have grown to love from the show and the first movie. The outfits were over the top and incredibly captivating. Seeing Charlotte finally open up and fall apart was just enough and just at the right time. Carrie's lesson in the movie was well shared without provoking too much twist or room for arguement. It was light hearted, entertaining, funny and that is what you want when you watch the show or see a movie. Fantastic!

If you're a SITC fan, you'll enjoy this. Photography and fashions are eye-popping. Overall message of women being powerful in spite of being discounted by men in some cultures rang throughout but sometimes behavior didn't reflect HOW to use that power in a positive way. I loved the point that proves to men that women like to get away and just have some girl time. It is very important, and should not be turned in to something it is not. Not as good as the 1st. Very slow, not as fun. Good movie to rent but not worth seeing at the theater. Best part was Charlotte and Miranda discussing motherhood.

Had to take the lady friend to see this as she loves Sex And The City. Needless to say, she fell asleep after an hour and a half or so. Once I saw her napping, I decided to do the same.
We were well rested for Prince of Persia which we saw right after this train wreck of a movie.

I LOVED IT. I THINK THAT TOO MANY PEOPLE HAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS. YOU MUST NOT HAVE THAT. WALK INTO THE MOVIE, AND BE TAKEN ON A JOY RIDE ABOUT 4 DIFFERENT FRIENDS. I LAIGHED, CRIED AND ENJOYED THE ENTIRE MOVIE.
