Ruined the magic

I was a SATC fan. Always have been. I thought the series ended perfectly. No one was left wondering. And then they made the first movie. And I was so worried that they would ruin what was so great. And surprisingly they didn't. HOWEVER, it is so clear from minute #1 that they did not even TRY to really make a sequel. They simply made a movie to make money because they could. The acting is bad, the jokes are cheesy and unintelligent. And the plot. This movie left a bad taste for SATC in my mouth.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
