They've done it, again! They must have a certain formula that the production/screen writers/producers follow, because this movie was just as good as any previous movie/episode they've ever done. Aside from the strong feminine energy, compared to the first movie (5 stars, in my opinion), their conversations were classic. Some of the masculine energy presented was slightly cheesy, but it brought balance to the two. ...and Big was great, too. Get ready to take a roller-coaster ride with the girls, emotionally and geographically! Enjoy!

No it's not as good as the first but part of that is how excited we all were to see the first SITC movie. However, this movie won't disappoint. It's funny, beautiful, and entertaining enough to make the trouble of coordinating schedules with your girlfriends for a day/night out. I will always love anything "Sex in The City" it stole my heart from the very first episode!! This movie was not as great as the 1st but it was still fun and had some great scenes. It probably could of been shortened by at least a 1/2 hour...since some scenes were just plain boring. But my favorite part of the movie was the fact that Carrie & Big make the decision to not have babies. I'm so sick of everything ending with Happily ever after by getting married and having kids. This is not a reality anymore. Some people do not want kids and it should still be acceptable! I would definitely recommend this to my friends!!

"Sex in the City 2" was great!!! Not as awsome as the first one,but only because the first one involved more drama and it was more about BIG and Carrie and how everything turned out once they FINALLY got back together. Now, I have to say Samantha is just hilarious, Carrie is her fabulous self,Miranda finally looks relaxed and spends more time with her family. My shocker was to finally see Charlotte Breakdown!! This, I think was what made me enjoy the movie more. Charlotte expressed and confessed how hard it's been for her juggling parenthood and being a perfect wife. Charlotte showed us a more realistic side of her than the "Carol Brady" part she's been accustomed to. Overall...i give it 9 thumbs up...well, if I had them...lol.

Saw the movie last night with my ladies. We all agreed that it didn't live up to the hype and the first one was 1000x better. We were disappointed with the outfits Carrie, Char, Samantha, and Miranda wore. What the heck were they thinking?! This was a great sequel film. It not only stayed true to the series, it was a great way to continue on from the first movie. Miranda's wardrobe was AWESOME, all the ladies looked great but Miranda had some stunning pieces.

This first movie was SO good, it's of course going to be difficult to live up to in a sequel. In my opinion there wasn't enough New York, wasn't enough fashion and while there was a great base storyline, too much was just filler. Loved it! Saw it with 3 of my girls! We laughed so much and really enjoyed the movie! I personally can not get enough of Sex and the City! I hope they come out with parts 3, 4, 5, etc. :)

SATC2 was not like the last movie, and it really wasn't a sequal to it either. This movie focused more on the fun and fantasy of an exotic place and the fabulous life that 99% of the world will never have. I enjoyed lots of laughs, but the storyline was definately lacking in depth and meat. But, actually... that was okay for me. I loved being swept away with the beautiful scenery and the fashion! This movie is fab without the real drama... but that is why many might not like it. I'd still tell my girlfriends to have a cocktail and go see it, because its still fun! xoxo

I was not a fan of the television show, nor did I feel 'blown away' by the first movie, but I absolutely loved this sequel! The tone was pretty light and fun, lots of great one-liners, some slapstick, and dry humor. I do not recommend dragging a boyfriend/husband/date to this movie. It really is something to be enjoyed with your girlfriends. The scene in the karaoke bar, where the ladies sing "I am Woman" is great. If you know the song, you'll find yourself singing along. Definitely grab your girlfriends, some Cosmos, and go see this movie!

I thought the first movie and every episode of the show I've ever seen were better than this movie. Some of the scenes were so silly that it made the characters seem less wise, insightful and mature with age rather than more so. They seemed so self-absorbed with relatively minor stresses of day-to-day living that I found it disappointing. I wasn't expecting an Academy Award winner - just good fun and interesting plot. I got neither.
