Great action a lot of it completely unbelievable even for a CIA Special OPS. The story was weak except for it coincidental tie in with the recent Russian Spy case. They had to have been making this movie before that story broke So I think Rahm Emanuel tipped off his brother.

Angelina Jolie's character in "Salt" is a cross between "Jason Bourne" from the Bourne Series and "Ethan Hunt" from the Mission Impossible movies only "Salt" is not as thrilling as either of those, but Angelina Jolie is excellent with what she has been given. The problem with "Salt" is the story is disjointed. Don't get me wrong, there is tons, I mean TONS of action from the first few minutes. In fact once the action starts it's virtually non-stop, but the problem is you don't receive the much needed background information in a timely manner to understand why everything is happening. Angelina Jolie plays a CIA operative who is exposed as a Russian Spy Sleeper or is she? There is a possible threat on the President of the United States. Is "Salt" the assassin? The CIA thinks she is. The story unfolds from there...There are twists and turns, lots of thrills, amazing stunts and car crashes. You will think you have it all figured out but something comes along and you are stumped again. The interesting thing is the door was left open for a second installment.

This movie was close to picture perfect for its genre. Very efficient beginning. Set up the premise quickly and easily. Action started very quickly with virtually no respite. Great chase scenes, interesting plot twists, and nice twist at the end. Ending could have been a bit better, but left room for SALT II. Angelina was in good form, although a bit skinny for the character (didn't see any buff), Liev Schreiber was very good as well. They spoke real Russian, which is better than the usual Gobbledegook they use. Unlike a lot of action films, there was no self indulgent badly dialogued drama in the middle to add to run time.
Highly recommend it.

I am one of those AD/HD people who has a hard time watching tv or just any movie due to the fact that holding my interest is difficult. I absolutely enjoyed this movie from start to finish. I really enjoyed the movie. Angelina was great and the movie held my attention the whole time. I hope there is a sequel

Angelina Jolie finally gets to be the female James Bond she says she has always wanted to be - and her "seasoned" talents are the perfect "bouillabaisse" in which to form her character "Evelyn Salt". Salt is an action-packed, suspense, spy thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat as it takes you on many twists and turns while barreling towards its "good to the last bite" conclusion. Salt is good enough that you will want to go back for seconds and the movie ends in such a way as to virtually guarantee another "full coarse meal" with Salt a year or two from now. Salt may not be everyone's "taste" but if you like your action fast and crazy with a twist you will find it an excellent repast.

What an incredible film! SALT was an intense, edge-of-your-seat movie that rocked my world!
The story: Unpredictable! The cast: Superb!
I adore Mrs. Jolie in this type of roll. The former Tomb Raider is a no nonsense lady who is a cut above the rest, and simply the best!
And when she goes from blonde to brunette....watch out! It's like when Spider-Man got his black costume! Ladies take note for your next trip to the hair salon!
Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor were fantastic too! They gave this one woman powerhouse some really nice male support.
SALT is an all around exciting film that should definately be enjoyed on the big screen! And to me it's Angelina Jolie's best film to date!
