There was too much fowl language, but then again with an 'R' rating you figure that and nude scenes will probably be a factor.
The basic theme was quite entertaining,however, we thought it was a bit slow taking off.

While there is waaay too much cussing in the movie, the plotline is hilarious and the interplay between Rock and Lawrence was awesome. The wide cast of characters did make it a little confusing at times (why, exactly were Tracy Morgan and Luke Wilson there???) but it keeps you good and paying attention. I'd see it again on video and found it worth the $8 it cost here.

This movie was funny in some parts, crude language and crude behavior spoiled the rest of the film. I like the cast but can not recommend this movie. This is a one shot deal movie, not worth $11.00 to see again. The man who took the so called valium was very funny.

This was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time..and I mean gut-busting, laugh out loud funny. I was laughing hysterically for most of the movie. Just a a great old fashioned funny movie. Who would have ever thought that a funeral could be so funny. Great job on this one Chris Rock!

This movie was.... OK. I thought there were some really funny parts that kept me laughing and other parts that were like.... ok. It's not a bad movie but it's not the be all end all of the best. However, on a lazy sunday when your looking to be entertained.... Go For it!

"If something can go wrong - it will." What a joy to see a film that makes you laugh from beginning to end. A family funeral surely doesn't seem to be a subject for comedy but neither did the prospect of nuclear war - until Dr. Strangelove. Chris Rock leads a great cast on a great ride. Just sit back and enjoy.
