Death at a Funeral kept me chuckling throughout with a few "guffaws" thrown in occasionally. I thought that James Marsden & Peter Dinklage stole most of the best laughs in the movie .... which is hard to believe with the likes of Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence occupying the same film. The weakest character had to be Luke Wilson. Why was he even in the movie? Not sure that the film is worthy of putting out first run movie theater ticket money but it is worth a viewing - maybe as a rental or at the dollar theater in a few weeks.

I expected 'Death at a Funeral' to be funny after seeing the trailers, but how funny could a movie about a funeral be, right? I was pleasantly surprised. Although the humor is mostly irreverent, and makes light of what should be a somber experience, I found it very funny. The trailers didn't give a false impression of what the movie was going to be, unlike others I have seen lately. What you see is what you get. It's too bad they have to use so many of the best parts of the movie in the trailer, but there is enough left to make it worth seeing.

I was lucky enough to see the original British comedy and I was skeptical that an American director would be able to make this movie as funny as the original, but I was mistaken. This movie was just as funny is not funnier that than the original. i would definetly recommend this to anyone and buy it for myself.

I loved this movie. It was not always predictable and all the funny parts were not just in the trailers that you see. There were so many great actors in this movie! It really made me laugh so hard that I had to look around and make sure I didn't offend anyone, but then I realized no one could of heard me over everyone else laughing simultaneously. The pairing of Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence as character foils was brilliant!
