Individually most of the cast are pretty funny in other work. The general idea was a snarky comedy about a group of middle aged guys and their families. I knew this movie was going to be a floater in the punchbowl within the first 5 minutes. The writing was awful, the comedic timing flawed, and then Kevin James (MallCop) and Rob Schneider (Everything he has ever done) stepped up to the mic and made it worse. All around just a horrible movie written for 13 year old kids. Wait until it comes out on Pay per View then rent something else.

I don't know who was laughing more -- the adults or the teenage boys we had with us! This is one of the few movies where the movie was actually funnier than the previews! It seems like most previews show the funniest, best scenes, then I'm disappointed in the actual movie. That wasn't the case with Grown Ups!

I enjoyed sitting in a theater with everyone laughing, it was really funny. It appeared the actors enjoyed making the film and working together, it came across on the big screen to make a great movie, also enjoyed thinking back to childhood friends.

Was leary from reading some of the reviews of others but turned out they were way too picky. This movie is great. Funny!!!. My husband I and both enjoyed it! Has a good lesson in it (yup believe it!) and all in all a good movie. Would not take little young kids to see it but children 10/11 and up would enjoy most of humor and could use the lesson.

I'm a little biased, I'm a huge Adam Sandler fan, and with this cast, my expectations were very high.
They didn't disappoint. Although there were some crude sexual humor exploitations throughout the movie, this movie was quite funny and hilariously so.
Almost every scene was filled with great punchlines, and more importantly, the movie scored big points in weaving in a great heartwarming story for kids of all ages (including "Grown Ups.")

I hope they had fun making this movie because otherwise why else would they have filmed this. My 16 year old son liked the movie so that may say something about the target audience. There are some funny lines and funny parts, but, if you have seen the previews you have seen the best parts. The movie is very predictable and leaves a lot to be desired. This movie is hilarious! I laughed the whole time. It is so amazing. I just saw it Friday and I want to go and see it again today. Adam, Kevin, Chris, Rob and David KILLED IT! I loved it!

Grown Ups is this summers "Hangover". It's definitely not an Acadamey Award winner but it has you laughing and having a good time through the whole movie. This is one where the whole audience is LOL along with you.

I thought this was a very funny movie!! Don't think there was a single person not laughing the entire movie. You could tell that they all enjoyed making the movie and were having fun!! Haven't laughed like that in a very long time from a movie! A must see!!
