This movie was by far the best one in the saga so far! The acting was better and it was nice to see more of the characters get their chance to shine. The action was intense and most of the emotional seens were convincing. The film was visually stunning. I will definitely see it again in theaters and buy the DVD.

Going in we knew there would be changes as you can't have everything exactly the same but this movie was great!! The action was spot on, I have to say I was on the edge of my seat during the whole fight scene!! The flashbacks were great, it was nice to see a little background to the supporting characters. The wolves looked even bigger than New Moon. And the proposal, just to see the anxiousness Robert Pattinson brought to that scene makes your heart melt!! Loved every second of this film...

Once again I sat and watched the movie and was still on the edge of my seat even though I have read the books a million times! I am sure I will see it a few more times and then will wait for the DVD release, hopefully Summit works their magic with Movie#4 and #5!!!

This movie was perfect everything about it was good and I think the director did a wonderful job it was so intense and exciting I was bouncing on my seat the entire time. I've never seen a movie twice at a movie theater I usually just wait for the DVD but I'm returning to see Eclipse.

I loved Eclipse! The new actors for Riley, Bree and Leah were great. I think Rachelle LeFevre was a much better Victoria! Too bad they didn't keep her. Other than that, it was great.

I love this series and this movie didn't disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat through most of it. Of course it didn't follow the book exactly, but it followed closer then Twilght or New Moon. I know I'll go to see it again.

The books are brilliant, well crafted, mesmerizing and incredibly satisfying -- the reader is totally absorbed in the ongoing story which is so well done that there are no inconsistencies to drag you away from 'living the books'.
Usually, with a series of books so complex and well-woven, you expect the movies made from them to be hopefully good but not AS good, usually "good but different" is the best you hope for.
New Moon thrilled me because they took the characters introduced in Twilight to a new level, a level much more in keeping with their 'reality' in the books. Eclipse continues this growth -- it was absolutely stunning. There were No glitches or errors to pull you away from being fully, 100% absorbed in the story from beginning to end. It was beautifully acted, directed and filmed. If the ratings went up to 5 stars I'd have to give it at least a 7 or 8...
Thank you ... you began by being good actors with good roles -- you have successfully Become the characters and again, one word -- Brilliant!!

I loved this movie!
The book had a lot of history in it and I liked the way the movie explained it. The battle scene was great, I loved watching the powerful beauty of the wolves not to mention the tense fight scene between Edward and Victoria.
As always seeing it on the big screen is a must, I will go see it again before I wait not so patiently for the DVD to come out.

i couldn't have been happier to see the movie begin (almost) with edward and bella in the meadow... and end the same way. they were so loving and tender– this is the love story i've been waiting two movies for. the action scenes kept the pace of the movie quick, and there was no lull in this one at all. robert pattinson is amazing as edward. we saw the entire trilogy that night, and he only gets better with time (and better makeup artists).

This movie was by far the best of the three... of course everyone says that when sequels come out.! I will be seeing it AGAIN this weekend and probably at least one more time after that.
The quality was perfect, and they captured the jealousy between Edward and Jacob perfectly. As well as all the romantic scenes!!

I thought the overall movie was great, acting by all actors was very good but I couldn't get past Kristen Stewarts wig...it was awful!! I kept finding myself staring at it, just not pretty at all. I hate that we have to wait until Nov. 11 to see Breaking Dawn part 1 then wait again....ugh!!

I love the books and have seen the movies multiple times and own all of them. Eclipse was probably the best so far although I loved the others too. Each one with the different directors (IMHO) has been unique and I have enjoyed them immensely. I loved the mix of suspense and humor in this one and I feel the three main actors did the best ever with it. LOVED it and you will too! Oh, and I'm one of the "older" Twilight fans!

I'm a HUGE fan of the books & thought the 1st 2 movies were not so great. Though I enjoyed being able to see the books come to life on the big screen they were still lacking...However, Eclipse was AMAZING!!! I did not have 1 complaint about this movie! Now I will say that with the 1st 2 movies I re-read the books before going to watch them & this time I didn't & I think that helped a lot! Since it had been awhile since I read Eclipse it was easy for me to get lost in the film & not sit there and say, "wait thats not how it happened in the book."
Please note all you fans that could not stand Kristen Stewarts acting in the 1st two films u will be pleasantly suprised, she has no more stutters or weird twitches lol Actually all of the actors acting skills seem to have improved. This movie had everything you could ask for, action & drama yet it was still romantic. I will be going to watch this movie again:)

I'm in agreement with most others that Eclipse was the best of the Saga so far. It veered from Bella's perspective much more than the first two, yet not a LOT. The humor and action in the movie were both great pluses!
(Spoiler?) As a massive fan of the books, the only thing I thought the film lacked was that devastating detachment Bella is supposed to feel when she says goodbye to Jacob at the end.. I'm not even a fan of Jacob's character, and I missed that.

I'd heard this was better than the other 2 movies, and that was true. There are deeper relationships between the characters, which makes you care more about them. And the "fight" scenes between vampires and werewolves, and the special effects they used, were terrific. We may see it again in the theater, and will definitely buy it on DVD.
