Highly entertaining, even for someone who has never read the books or isn't obsessed with the previous two films in the series. The acting has improved ten-fold, and the directing and cinematography are superb. Great movie!

It's so important to provide entertainment and content that younger people can enjoy and connect with. This series isn't all hype. There some geniune relationships and messages captured should and are presented. Everyone around me was enthralled (keep in mind that the average age was about 13). So I suspended my adult cynicism and looked at Eclipse through their eyes and I was caught up in the story and excitement too.

Eclipse was great as it followed along with the book quite religiously. I would have preferred the score to have adapted more to the twilight aura instead of howard shore's lord of the rings creation. But the album definitely held its own. Overall I enjoyed David Slade's dark and eerie touch on the saga and can't wait for the next installment =)

I saw this movie with my 13 year old daughter... We've seen all the twilight movies together. This one started out slow, and even when the action picked up, it was disappointing. I loved the theme, and it stayed true to the book, but just into the 2nd hour, I noticed that my daughter wasn't paying attention anymore... That part was disappointing...Otherwise...I enjoyed it a lot.

The movie was definately better than the other two, and there were more funny parts, but I still feel like all of the actors speak without much emotion...maybe that's how you have to talk to be a vampire. Even Kristen Stewart (who I think has some talent) sounds dull. But the special effects are awesome, and when the action scenes come on, the movie comes to life. It is dragged down by all the dialogue, although I know that its necessary to create the backstory

This installment rocked. Loved the opening scene and they gave you the important parts of the book to start tying it all together come the last installments. Loved seeing the Cullens and Wolf Pack together kicking @*! and taking names. Never a lull in the timing and almost everyone had a funny remark. At times had you on edge with suspense and the next laughing. The director brought his A game on this one and hopefully Breaking Dawn can top it.

Eclipse was FANTASTIC!! I wish I could see it 10 times in a row! The action was great, the romance was superb, and the Cullens got the face time they deserved! I lost count of how many times Edward and Bella kissed, and the kisses were fabulous! DON'T MISS IT!

Eclipse is the best of the series, so far, we still have Breaking Dawn 1 & 2 to look forward to. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat and Taylor Lautner's ab's were even better than New Moon-more shirtless scenes. The film was colorful (the first movie was very drab compared to the second two). The effects were great.

Great Movie. Everyone who's a Twilight book and/or movie fan will love it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn't come close to comparing to the books! If you didn't read the books you are sooooo missing out. I honestly think I would not have liked the movies as much if I had not read the books first.

So far this has been the best one! I loved everything about it. It's very close to the book as possible given the time frame. I would definitely see it again. I am so waiting to get it on blue-ray. I loved the way they don't show too much when it came to the love scenes. Great job! I can't wait for the next two!

I thought the movie was awesome! The interpretation of the book was spot on. It would be great if they could fit in every detail from the 3rd book - but that would end up being an 8-10 hour movie and it is just not an option. I really liked the action sequences and the scenes with Bella, Edward, and Jacob were quite intense! My only negative on the movie is the "right up in their face" film style they used on some of the shots. Not that I mind up close shots of the characters sometimes just something I noticed. I will be seeing the movie again this time in IMAX - just for the experience.

Everything was much better. The acting, the actors have grown into their characters. The action was better. The phasing of the wolves was better. The directing was better. I love the intensity of the first true love and the memories it makes the viewer recall of their own life. This is why the 40 yr old moms love Twilight. The only thing that the first movie has over the other 2 is the movie soundtrack.

O-M-G I feakin loved it . Saw it last night and all I could say is thank u stephanie meyer and the producers and others. It was my fav btwn new moon and twilight . The mix with love and action kept me glued. It had funny parts... it was just great. no complains. Can't wait for breakin dawn . TWILIGHT SAGA IS THE BEST!
