The film was very well done and although the screenwriter moved some action (the newborns) to keep the story interesting for a film audience, it did not detract from the original book. In fact, it might have made it better! The characters and main story line remained intact, making this the best Twilight film to date.

I thought that this was the best of the three so far. I liked how the did the whole battle of the newborn vampires without any gore. In fact we enjoyed the movie so much, we came back again later in the day and saw it again!

This brings Book 3 to life very realistically, and although some of my favorite scenes from the book are missing from the movie, I left the theater feeling like they did a great job. I'm really anticipating Part 1 of Book 4, and I only wish we didn't have to wait so long for it!

I think it was a really good adaptation of the book. The changes in some of the scenes could've been the way Stephanie wrote it, and I was happy the way some scenes were put together into one scene. Totally worked, and all of my favorite scenes from the book were incorperated.
I think the wolves were more real, not quite as animated in movement and sound and the way their fur moved...things like that.
As usual, the cast carried off their parts well, especially transitioning into the more comfortable way they would have with each other as they are becoming permanent parts of each others lives.
I guess the best thing I could say: I went to the movie with a friend who previously wasn't into the saga and just went to keep me company. She watched Twilight and New Moon to get up to speed on the storyline and was still pretty non-committal. She left this movie saying it was really good, and than she thinks she's going to have to read Breaking Dawn now, because she can't wait till next year to find out what happens!

I really enjoyed Eclipse. It stuck very close to the book, which I am fanatical about. However, the 2 parts that strayed seemed to bother me a bit. 1. They had the vampires heads/bodies shatter while fighting. In the book they must bite the body part off. Made them seem too weak. One punch and you're dead?? Not at all how it happens in the book. 2. The fight scene with Riley, Edward and victoria. When Bella draws blood to distract them from killing Edward. That didnt happen in the book. She was about to do it, put the rock to her arm, pushed and gasped cause it hurt. No blood came. But the gasp is what made them turn and look. Overall though it was amazing. These were the only two things that bothered me.

I absolutely loved it. It’s the best movie out of the Twilight Saga. I’m a huge Twilight fan. I liked the first movie, thought the second movie was disappointing, but this third movie was fabulous, right on point. I would definitely go see it again.

This movie was great! It seemed to follow the book better. I didn't feel like I was there for 2 hours. I could watch it over and over. Don't wait for it to come out on DVD, go see it. It is worth the money believe me!!

Twilight and New Moon felt like snoozers to me, but Eclipse would probably be one that would keep me on the edge of my seat. David Slade made the big fight scene at the end action packed and look effortless. I would totally recommend this to all the fellow Twilighters and friends out there. =D

The 3rd and best so far of the Twilight series. True to the book. The characters are more "alive"...lol. Lots of action, tension, passion and even a few laughs. The battle of fire and ice is apparent. Liked the background on the Cullen clan and tribe history. Go see!

This might be the best Twilight Saga movie to date! As usual, there were differences when compaired to the book, but awesome, none the less. My fav part in the book and movie was when Bella, Edward and Jacob are in the tent just before the battle with the New Borns. And Bella and Jacob's second kiss rocked!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good "Eclipse" was. I have never been a fan of Kristen Stewart and how she portrays Bella..always seeming too akward, but she did a great job in this movie! The movie did not move slowly at all, was action packed and definitely emotional. They did a great job keeping it quite similar to the book! And of course ALL the men looked amazing! Definitely the best Twilight movie so far! Going back again this weekend to see it!

I must say that it was better than the last, New Moon. Actors did a good job and settings were good as well. It must be said though, if Harry Potter can be 3 hours long and keep a lot of the details then why cant Summit get it together and do the same? I think twilight fans deserve it, espcially with the following it has. Give us more details. I would have liked to see where Bella got the dress from Alice for graduation and the realization of what was coming. I think that was a key point. Otherwise it was still good and I did enjoy laughs and fight scenes.

Definately followed the book and was pretty good. Chemistry wasn't as strong as the 2 prior, but the visuals were great. Would recommend it, but make sure that you don't take someone that hasn't either read the books or seen the first 2 movies. They won't understand it at all.

Me and a few of my friends went to the midnight release in Pickerington, Ohio. I really enjoyed the movie. I think David Slade did a very good job with this movie. I really like the intensity of the hatred that Victoria had towards Bella and Edward. The only part that I was dissapointed with was the way that Rosalie told her story to Bella, and the ending. I would have really liked to have seen Charlie's reaction to the news of Bella and Edward getting married. Overall loved the film and I plan on going again this weekend and seeing it once again.

E X C E L L E T E!! Lots of action, Jasper did great and was quite cute as a southern boy. Liked how some of the Cullens told how they came to be. Very close to the book, like that, Tent scene was just as I imagined it. It is the best of all three!!
