I loved the books and I have seen Twilight and New moon. I saw the midnight showing of new moon. But with Eclipse my kids 7 and 11 wanted to see it also. So we saw it june 30th in the afternoon. It was amazing. This movie was the best of the 3.

This movie was by far the best in the series yet. The acting was a lot better than the previous movies, I went to the midnight premier and again the next day. I would definitely recommend this movie for people who do or do not like the series.

I loved ths movie. I am drawn in by the intense story line and appreciate the violence scenes not being over-done. I thought the movie did start abruptly (thought it was a preview at first), but I can't wait to see it again and again!

Definitely the best movie in the Twilight Saga thus far! I really enjoyed it. Acting was much improved and the action was fantastic. Definitely went above and beyond my already-high expectations. I will be seeing it again in theatres.

I have been anticipating this movie for so long I was afraid it would not meet my incedibly high expectations. I was not disappointed! The movie brings all the love, lust and longing alongside the action perfectly. All of my favorite scenes and dialogue from the book were there and were even better than I had imagined they could be. I can't wait to see it again and again!!!

I absolutely loved this movie, it was intense, funny, and seductive. I have read the books a million times, seen Twilight and New Moon a million times and have gotten a ton of friends and family as addicted to it as I am. If I get the opportunity, I hope to see it again before it comes to blu-ray...that is quite a while.

I've noticed the actors performances improve over time - great cast, great story. Can't wait for the next one - will probably see this one again in the theaters - will buy the DVD ASAP too. Also, great soundtrack.

It was a cool movie , they got in depth on the rest of the Cullen family . Not how I would've wanted , I think they should have stuck more to the book ... But aside from that I think It was a good interpretation . Wish they would've included the part where Alice had to babysit Bella , and all the failed attempts at escaping to visit Jacob . And they should have stuck to La Push Beach when Bella finally did visit Jake... But it was good anyway lol :)

This movie is a must see for anyone who is a fan of the Twilight books. Although it left a lot of the book out, it did it justice. Of course no movie can live up to a book, but this one comes close enough. I'm not crazy about this director...I didn't like all the real CLOSE UPS and the wiggly camera in some scenes. I don't have to look up someone's nostrils to see how they are feeling. Bryce Howard did a good job filling in for Rachele Lafevre. I would have liked her back, but since she couldn't be in this movie, I think Bryce did a good job. Although the movie is 2 hours long, I would have liked more...more of the Quileute legends...more Edward...more everything! I'll see it again. And again...

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is better than it's first 2 films. This does not mean it was the greatest movie in the planet. Putting aside my like for the books I will say the movie was decent and the visuals were top notch. The acting was bad at some points but it is a movie worth watching.

I loved the fight sceens, and the movie overall was great. I think it would have been even better if I had not read the book prior to seeing it, because it strayed from the book quite a bit, and in very important parts, I felt, and at times seemed to even change the meaning ans feeling of a few scenes. Jacob's (Taylor Lautner) character seemed to over act quite a bit, but still he was wonderful to admire on screen regardless! ;)

The dialogue and acting were still a bit lacking, and I wish there had been more action - hence the 4 stars.
However, that being said, I really enjoyed Eclipse. I thought it was a big improvement from the first two movies - the actors are growing into their roles and the dialogue is improving. There are some cheesy lines, sure, but people who are fans of the series will appreciate that because, let's face it, Stephenie Meyer uses some pretty cheesy lines.
Taylor Lautner is totally and utterly convincing as the boy who Bella *should* be with, making your heart break for Jacob when she chooses Edward. And I loved the addition of the conversation in the field at the end, where Bella explains that it wasn't a choice between the two men, but a choice between who she was and who she should be.
The action scenes were well choreographed and the wolf graphics, while not mind-blowing, were good. And as a personal member of "Team Jasper", I was very glad to see them work to include the side characters as well; I had worried that they would overwhelmingly focus on the love triangle and neglect the other characters' roles in the story.
I believe my 4-star rating is a solid representation of the movie. Overall it was a strong improvement to the first two movies, and they're headed in the right direction. Hopefully they'll continue to improve and I'll be able to give an unqualified 5-star review to Breaking Dawn.

No Twilight fan will be disappointed with this new installment! Lots more action, more vampires and more werewolfs, what could be better. Lots of back stories that help fill in for viewers that have not read the series. All the effects look great, love the wolfs just wish the vampires had fangs, I think it was a mistake to not have them.
