It's awesome! Very romantic but with lots of exciting action scenes. It sticks to the book pretty closely, so Twi-hards shouldn't be disappointed or disgruntled. There are lots of closeups! Rob fans will drool--Edward is gasp-worthy in this one!
I really enjoyed it, plan to see it at least one or two more times in the theater. The only negative for me: I was disappointed with the soundtrack--no songs stood out for me like on the first two soundtracks, so I don't plan to buy it. Other than that, it's two thumbs up. It's gonna be hard to wait a year and a half for Breaking Dawn.

Finally Edward & Bella looked truly in love!!!! I loved that the director stuck to the many stories that were in the book. Make-up and fight scenes were perfect... Can't wait to see it again and buying the CD to add to my collection... Excellent movie ***** five stars

Eclipse is without a doubt the best of the Twilight movies so far. It follows the book very well. Its dark, dangerous, and entertaining. The special effects are awesome. Furthermore, all the men who say Twilight is lame are wrong because this movie is action packed and the end leaves you wanting more.

Go see it. Robert Pattison and Taylor Lautner have improved their acting chops immensely. The "Tent" scene was incredible. The wolves are bigger and better than ever. Kudos do the director. I recommend it even to the reluctant guy to watch, although realize guys it's hard for us girls not to pine over Jacob's abs and Robert Pattinson's gorgeousness.

Eclipse was a great movie! I have read all the books and own Twilight and New moon but Eclipse has always been my favorite! I loved the scene when Jacob, Bella, and Edward where in the tent! I think Taylor portrays Jacob really well! I also love when Bella asks Jacob to kiss her (like Jacob knew she would). GO TEAM JACOB!

Eclipse is definately the best movie out of the series so far. The sex appeal in this movie is way cool. It's hard to choose between Team Edgar and Team Jacob. The movie was never boring and you couldn't wait to see the next scene. I loved it.

I'm a fan of the books and sometimes the movies cannot deliver the same intensity or emotion involved in the book. However this was definitely not the case here. This movie had the perfect blend of romance as well as action. Even someone who isn't a Twihard can appreciate the movie. I drank in the movie like I did with the book, the same anticipation was there.

I liked the first two movies, but Eclipse trumped both. David Slade brought so much more to the movie, and even the screenwriting was better, which, although isn't hard to achieve, I'm glad they stuck so close with the book this time. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn!

Definitley the best movie out of the 3. It stays pretty true to the book... the changes made seem to make sense for the overall flow of the movie. My only complaint... I wish they could've included more details from the book for character development, but how much can you really put in a 2 hour movie! It has great entertainment value and I will see it again and again!!!

This was my favorite of the three Twilight movies Team Edward all the way. I thought that the main characters had matured so much in their acting abilities. And then there is Jasper...oh my Jackson Rathbone was terrific, almost stole my heart!!

As a grandmother who has read all the books, I love seeing the movies and having the literary characters come to life! My daughter got me started on the books and we've seen all the movies together. Eclipse was great and I want to see it again. I have Twilight and New Moon on DVD and I watched both of them before seeing Eclipse. Can't wait for Breaking Dawn!!

I have seen all the movies in the theaters and used to be a really avid fan. Now that I've come out of my Twilight-induced haze, I can watch the movies with a lot more insight than just a crazed fan who would love anything. With that said, this movie was definitely better than the first two if not for more character involvement on everyone's parts, then for the improvement in acting. I felt this time around Rob was much more like the Edward I've always imagined and less robo-vamp. If you like Twilight, definitely see it, if not, I'm not sure it's worth your money in the movie theaters, but it is worth being rented. I say this because the Twilight Saga movies are more about making the books a reality than achieving cinematic prowess.

This was the BEST one so far and I enjoyed the other 2 parts so much. I really felt connected to the characters in this one, and the ending was so beautiful. The fight scene was so realistic, and exciting. I can't wait for part 4.

I think the action in Eclipse made for a really nice touch. I even thought you could see this movie as a stand alone, and it would make sense, as there was a nice background given on Jasper, Rosalie and even the werewolves. It was pretty close to the book, with some details merged for time I assume.
The one thing I did not like was that the vampires shattered, like glass...they were hard as stone, not glass

The twilight movies keep on getting worse and worse. Don't make fun of me but the best on was Twilight. I probuly have to see Breaking dawn because when a franchise make this much money you have to respect it. The scene in the tent goes on for about 20 minutes long during that scene I fell asleep. And I think the beggining should have started at the end of New Moon. Insted there in a flower garden

I am a huge fan of both the books and the movies. Eclipse did not fail to deliver to the fans. The action was as intense as the love triangle was. The werewolves looked amazing and the vampires looked wonderful. The movies just keep getting better.
