I saw this movie on the first day you could and thought it was good. I had not seen part 2 of the series so I was wondering if i would be able to catch up and I did easily. From the first moment of the movie there is action. The only problem I had with this movie was that everyone and there moms came out to see this movie so of coarse I had the ghetto Puerto Rican siscal and ebert sitting behind me. Captain obvious was sitting behind my girl and I talking to the movie so loud and stating the obvious. Whitstone cinema is usually great place to see movies but the hood rats messed up the experience. Plus I couldn't get any popcorn cause the concession stands move so dam slow the line was at least a half an hour wait and I didn't want to miss the movie. But a must see movie for sure.

I read all of the twilight books & i had very high expectations for this one and i must say it was sooo awesome and i am really satisfied with it. It was really similar to the book which was exactly what i was hoping for.

I have not read the books, but on the other hand I did not read Harry Potter either.I think that I good movie should be ablt to stand on its own merit. I think that it was entetrtaining and had good action segments. I heard a lot of 12-17- year girls sigh and giggle so I know that they appreciated the movie. There was some humor which is always good in a movie. I think that it was worth the money and I am sure that it will return the investment. the movie had a good flow to it and was well paced. It was also easy to follow. You did not have to see theother movies to understand what was going on even though I did see them..

Thought the movie was very good!! Stayed close to the book and gave all the important info that was needed.

The action/fight part was the best. The only problem I had with this movie was Bella. Bella was so odd when it came to the romantic parts, like it was forced.
I luv Jacob, he is so sexy and romantic, he just wanted to let Bella know that it was other chooses out there other then Edward.

This movie was awesome. I liked the darker aspect of the film and that it captured the important details of the book. For those who have not read the book, it gives a little information on what to expect in Breaking Dawn (even though you won't realize it until BD comes out). Very will done!

They finally used Stephanie Meyers' Dialogue right from the book!!! It is Bella's and Edward's conversations (and the others) that are the essence of their unique relationship(s). It is the "love story"!
It is what was missing from and hurt the first movie. Second was better, this is the best so far. What is up the serious changes in "hair dos" every film?

This movie was great! If you are a fan of the books you will love it because they stayed very close to the story. If you are not a fan or the books or even the series in general you will love it because it's a great movie. Romance, action and even some humor mixed in. David Slade was an excellent choice and I'm just sad that we won't be continuing on with this series!

It was the absolute best of all three. I don't think I'd ever been on the edge of my seat so much in my life. I didn't ever want it to end. I can't wait for Breaking Dawn, and I would definitely have a friend watch it. It was wonderful, and I don't think I could ever get tired of it.

I saw this movie the day it came out, yesterday the 30th. I have not read any of the books. But I have seen the first two movies. To me, they have progressively gotten better. The first was good, the second was great, and this one was the BEST by far!!
There was more romance, more action, more laughs, more surprises and more shirtless Jacob! Need I say more? ♥ him!
This movie was the best so far and is just a celebration of all the reasons why we love these movies!
I can't WAIT for the next two! I hope the progression continues and they will be even better.
Oh - and I already want to see it again!!! I'm obsessed!!!
(And I guess I'm not the only one since more than an hour before the movie started there was about 20 girls waiting already!)
I only wished it were 4 hours long!!

Eclipse was everything I wanted it to be! Lots of seeing Jacob without a shirt. The Bella and Jacob kisses, the fight scenes and THE TENT SCENE WAS AWESOME!!!!

Enjoyed the love triangle going on between Bella, Edward and Jacob. The werewolves and vamps were great -- loved the fight scenes and how they all came together to protect Bella. Jasper is really giving Edward and Jacob a run for their money with his looks in this movie. At our midnight show there were 2 guys waiting in line that had "Team Jasper" boards. Cannot wait for the next movie -- Breaking Dawn!

Since the movie makers got an actual budget, the series has been getting better and better over time. Of course, this was no exception and the story almost portraits accurately the relationship between the characters. Still, if you have read the books there is still something missing. The intensity of Bella and Edward's love, Bella's agony at having to choose between him and Jacob, still something missing. I am however looking forward to the next two movies and hope they live up to the wonderful story. I WILL own this one too when it comes out on DVD :)

I am a fan of the series but this movie didn't do justice to the book. I know there is a love struggle but it was emphasized too much in this movie. I got bored toward the end. Too much "lovey-dovey" for me.
