This is a movie about a historical figure. From what I can remember it is accurate. The personal aspects of course only "The Iron Lady" would know. It is the type of role that Meryl Streep excells in and she does not disappoint.
I watch the first Sherlock and wondered does it get better than this, yes. I think that most people will enjoy the action, the interplay between the characters. I was sorry to lose one of the characters. The interweaving of Ms Kelly's character should insure further movies. I think the pacing was very good and if you like action movies this is one you will enjoy. I do not wanted to reveal the plot so I will just say excellent. There was a discussion between strangers out side of the theatre about the movie what more can a director expect.
After watching the first two movies this one continued the story as expected. I do think that someone that has not followd the story would not appreciate the movie as much. Not as many special effects which is a plus. Relationships become more defined which is good. Entertaiing movie which I am sure will a hot rental.
Martin Scorsese at his best. Ben Kingsley's acting is superb. It maybe a little slow for some, but that is necessary for character definition. I wish Jude Law's part was larger but it would have made movie longer. Excellent afternoon entertainment would recommend it. A couple of scenes alittle scary, but well done
The movie was almost too nice. It would be good if people would behave as they are protrayed in the movie. The action in the movie from the car chase to the relationships was well done. The example of one man influencing everyone that he is in contact with to become better people is debatable. I have found in 60 years that when you associate with people who believe the same you can inforce their beliefs, but changing others is very hard. Now the influence on the children is true. Parents are able to influence their children a great deal.
I read that the producers were hoping for "The Kings Speech" or "True Grit". The movie has a lot going for it a great cast and mostly well written. All four principles were excellent. A demostration of a lost soul which is given quick solutions that eventually fail with a reminder about for better or worse and commitment. I like the movie a lot except for the last scene where the graduate receives the special envelope. I loved Marisa Tomei's character. She did a great job.
I read a review with Mr Hanks and Ms Roberts they said that the hards thing to do was the kiss because they had been friends so long, maybe that would have made a better movie. Heartless corporations wanting people to have college degrees questionable, younger employees probably. The question about what Julia Roberts could see in Tom Hanks. I thought women were better than men. They are intersted in humor, stability, honesty, etc. apparently physical appearence is first with women too. Ms. Roberts husband was a total loss. There was no character development just revelations. A good date night movie.
Yes I will have to concur it is the best of the 3 transformer movies. It is so spot on about the governent atleast as most people see the government. The further character development of the lead and supporting characters is good. The parents were a good break from all of the action. But I still missed Megan Fox, Rosie is okay the only real interesting thing she did was use her wiles on a transformer which worked.
Well my audience was about 70% kids under 10, but you would never know it once the movie started. I think the younger audience loved the none stop action while the adults were watching and listening to the dialogue. Do have to know the first movie no, you are brought up to speed very quickly.. It had a couple of messages like let your friends be themselves. I like the tranformation of the various cars the British spy or the various styles of the tow truck was good. It is a good movie for the kids and the previews did not have any things that you would have to explain to your children. The cartoon was a nice touch.
I had little knowledge of the Green Lantern Story. It was an entertaining movie and the special effects were good. Would I say this was a must see movie, no. Ryan Reynolds does not have the intensity of a young Harrison Ford or Matt Damon, Brad Pitt. I just do not see a part two. I think a fan of the Green Lantern will enjoy it, but it is just okay for the rest of the public.
