Although there were some inconsistencies between the book and the movie, the movie was fantastic. The fight scenes were amazing. I loved when Alice jumped over one of the werewolves. I wish the movie would have explained what was going on with Bree at the end a little better, but for those of us who actually read, we already know.

I HAD TO WATCH THIS MOVIE TWICE....ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER! I WAS SO DISTRACTED BY THE HEAVY MAKE-UP AND EVEN HEAVIER DIRECTION THAT I COULDN'T FOCUS ON THE STORY!
The 2nd time around I was still distracted but I tried to ignore the fact that everyone looked like a ceramic doll. Even Charlie!
The hard, dark focus and blue tint was annoying too. The whole movie was just a series of extreamly tight close-ups. The fights moved too quick to really tell what was happening... like maybe I blinked too much and missed all the fun.
All the Director's 'tricks' where too obvious...too DISTRACTING! Instead of focusing on the story and the characters...the DIRECTION SCREAMED "LOOK AT WHAT I CAN DO TO FILM", "LOOK WHAT I LEARNED AT FILM SCHOOL!" IT WAS VERY ANNOYING!!
The movie, the story was lost in the messy direction....but it stayed true to the book so I guess most fans will be happy. I was both disappointed...and relieved that the movie was finally released. Yes, I'll probably see it several more times...if only to work out what bothered my so badly about it!

The characters have really grown. I think the actors have grown into them also. It was nice getting more input from all the other guys and not just Bella & Edward. Totally loved it!!!!!

I went to see this one with my mom, and two younger brothers. The movie was great, of course with all books that get turned into movies, some things change. It wasn't that big of a difference though. It did throw me off a little bit seeing a different person playing Victoria instead of the one from the first two, but everything else was pretty much spot on. Can't wait to get it on DVD, then go see Breaking Dawn. Two Thumbs Up!

Saw this movie w/ 35-40 year olds. It was better than any of the other Twilight movies. Followed the books really well, even had some quotes right from the book, I was very impressed. The action was awesome, and Edward and Jacob had some great moments, and even Kristen's acting is coming along, not too many studders or eye squinting. She's come a long way. Would surely see this movie over and over again!

The movie moved along at a good pace, never a dull moment. I didn't feel the 2+ hours. The movie in itself is very good. However, I have to say as a lover of the book(s), I was disappointed. I did not care for the changes that were made. Parts were missing and/or rearranged. The other two movies were good, they followed the books fine, but for Eclipse I would suggest you read the book after you watch the movie.

Outta the 3 its the best, cause lets face it: the first one sucked. No questions asked, the worst of the three. The second fully brought into play the 3rd part of the love triangle, its main goal. And this showed, very well through sight, sound, and emotion, all three sides coming into conflict. The fourth should blow #3 outta the water. Unless they brake it up into two movies....oh wait darn lol.

Of the Trilogy, Eclipse is the best! The characters brilliantly come to life in this movie. The movie is true to the book with only a couple of minor differences. Like the other two movies in this series, I will watch this one over and over again!

I saw this movie with 50-ish year old woman and a 19-year old boy and all of us really liked it. The acting is MUCH better. I liked that it made me feel what I felt when I read the book. The tension between Jacob and Edward was palpable. The fight scenes full of great action. And Stewart did a pretty good job of showing Bella taking ownership of her decisions and maturing. Overall, I thought it was good enough to see again.

I think this is the best of the twilights that has been released yet. never a dull moment, it has everything! Action, drama, comedy and of course RPatz & Taylor Lautner! The thing that I liked most about is that they made the script as close as possible to what's in the book. Unlike New Moon where it feels like it's been rushed and the audience feels like they want to go to the ending right away. I can't wait until the release of Breaking Dawn next year!!! I wish they can release it earlier than next fall, I feel like I will burst in anticipation!

good story-telling pace, (better than new moon for sure), taylor lautner;s abs are a plus, dialogue much more funny than previous films, definitely even non-twilight readers can enjoy this for a summer fun flick that has romance, action and not to mention eye candy for the surely numerous teenage girls who see this movie:)

As a die-hard Twilight fan who's read all the books multiple times, I think this movie is the best one yet of the 3. The action is incredible, and I think they did a very good job of fitting in and condensing a good deal of details in the book so it makes sense for the movie.

I can't say this is better than the other two, because the're all different and I love them all. The movie is espectacular but I do recommend you see it in IMAX, the experience is so much more intense. I already saw it three times and tomorrow I'm going for the fouth time, can't stop watching it is just so, so good. I think I'm gonna go watch it for the next 30 days. Yeah!!! is that GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie wasn't as good as the other two and was a little boring to me. I have read the books and even though books are always better the other two movies were still pretty good. There are parts in this movie that did make me laugh. I think that it could have been better. It wasn't what I was expecting.

I definately enjoyed Eclipse. It was worth the wait for it, and I actually liked some of the changes that were made in the film. I felt like we weren't in the theater for two and a half hours, the film kept you hooked into the storyline. With Twilight, I wasn't so impressed, but New Moon was much better, and Eclipse was a big step up from Twilight. I would recommend that anyone who has enjoyed the books should see this one. It's an action-packed movie that keeps you locked in from start to finish.

this movie was beyond the first two in the Saga. The acting was stepped up and the "lighter" side of this movie was great. The fight scene with the Newborns was spectacular. I would recommend this movie to everyone I know and to all those who are looking for a small escape from reality.

This movie was really well done. I liked it better than the first two and would definitely recommend it to people, even ones that don't like the Twilight series all that much! There was a good mix of action and romance and overall it was just a lot better done than the first two.

I was very excited for this movie to come out as I am a BIG Twilight fan. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. The previews made the movie seem like it was going to be a lot better than it actually was. A while into the movie, I had to stop myself from just looking for the parts I recognized. I liked the New Moon director better. Of course, there was plenty of eye-candy, so that definitely made it bearable for me!
