The movie, of course, was not as good as the book and it left out some details, but the actors have gotten much better and it was really great to see it. The action scenes left something to be desired for me, but all in all it was very good. I can't wait for Breaking Dawn 1.

This movie is a must see especially if you have been keeping up with the entire twilight saga. Although the book is extremely more detailed the movie hits the key points in the book. No spoiler alerts here but I will always be a TEAM EDWARD fan!!!!

This is the third installment of the Twilight saga that I have gone to with my wife.The love triangle gets intense, and the action gets turned up to 11. Jacob is still shirt less (at least Edward makes a humorous comment, something that every straight man in the theater is thinking), Edward is still glittery, Bella still has that stoned cross-eyed look on her face, and Bella's dad is funny as ever. My only gripe is I was hoping for more of a cliff hanger ending to bring me back for Breaking Dawn, but there was none. I enjoyed this film and it's my favorite in the saga.

This was a great couples movie. My husband and I are 30 and 31 and we enjoyed all three movies. This movie was great except the ending felt cut off. I was expecting to see a little more closer to the movie. Also why wasn't the whole reason why it was called Eclipse incorporated into the movie, that's a pretty big deal. But over all great movie, lots of romance and great fight scenes for both the ladies and the guys.

Eclipse was much more closer to the way Stephanie Meyers laid it out in the books than Twilight was done on film. I did not enjoy the switching of Victoria, however, this Victoria did a very good job playing the part with Riley. The fight scene with the wolves and the Cullens against the newborns and Victoria was AWESOME! My kids loved the way the vamps turned to ice upon death. It was really cool, but completely different than the first two movies. I loved the way the relationship was portrayed when Jacob (in wolf form) stood next to Bella and the connection that was shown. We are all very anxious for the first part and second part of Breaking Dawn to come out!

This is the second time i saw eclipse and i really enjoyed it. The action scenes were a bit weak but at least i felt comfortable taking my younger child because it wasnt so violent. I loved it and will likely see it a few more times. Cant wait for the next one!!!

Eclipse was very good. I hope they stay true to the book (Breaking Dawn) in the last two movies. But it will probably need a R rating as the book is very graphic. Sorry kiddies, but if the movies go by the book (as it should) then kids younger than teenagers probably should not see it. The Director will need to "bring it" in the next two movies for the ultimate experience and tell the story right for the full effect.

I can honestly say I enjoyed this movie more than the other two mainly because you get to see the entire Cullen family "in action" with this one and they're not just "background" like they've been in the other two movies. You get a little history on Jasper and Rosalie and more insight into their characters and the pace of this one is helped by the build up to the eventual battle between the "new borns" and the vamps/wolves. The Volturi are there as well and you find out that Aro and the rest aren't as "just" as they portray themselves to be. Going to see it at least once more and possibly twice; I'm sure I missed the little things you don't appreciate the first time around. Well worth the price of admission!!!

Eclipse was definately more mature than Twilight and New Moon. At times it did not flow well. But Dacota Fanning's performance as Jane makes up for all the small flaws. The new ideas introduced into this movie makes it the best (hopefully) so far.

For real fans of the book, you may feel somewhat let down by the writer, editor or director - there were several scenes where Meyer's original telling had far more impact than the cut-for-efficiency Hollywood version. The use of music was so frequent that it was nearly distracting - especially where songs from the soundtrack were adapted into instrumental versions playing too loudly in the background. That said, the stunts were more interesting this time, due to the increased action, and the wolves look more real this time out. Good acting, as usual, especially from all of the Volturi (Dakota Fanning is just fantastic). Overall, it was a good film, but repeated viewings will be necessary to know whether this is a 4/5 or 3/5.

This was by far the best of the Twilight movies yet. David Slade did a great job balancing the love stories with the darker aspects of the new vampires and Victoria's hate. Actually surpassed my expectations!
I would not go so far as to say, however, that people who aren't fans of the franchise would enjoy it. There are more than a few cheesy moments in it that fans will appreciate, and love, and remember from the books but that people who haven't read them will probably inwardly groan at and roll their eyes.
The special effects and makeup are getting better and better with each movie as well, definitely impressed, and DEFINITELY going to buy on blu-ray. :)

I've read all the books and have seen all the movies. This movie, by far, is the best both technically and substantively.
The film was true to the book and portrayed all the characters much better than the other movies in the series. Casting was great and love the location of the Northwest as the backdrop for the movie.

My wife is really the Twilight fan, and I have not read the books, however, as the evolution of these movies go - it is fantastic! The third segment is more refined than the first two and I can only hope that the last couple of installments rival even this one! Looking forward to them! I have read the entire sage 3 times I have watch the first two movies several times and just saw eclipse. By far the best in the series. The action scenes were intense and the romantic scenes too. This had them all growing up and coming out of their awkward phases a little more. I am sure that I will be going several more times while it's still in the theater. Kristen's wig/hair in one scene was pretty bad though. They brought a little more of the "bree tanner story" into this with more face time for Riley and the newborns than in the book. But some of the scenes were word for word out of the book. I was slightly disappointed in how they left it and didn't bridge into the next one at all. Especially with Jacob.

I enjoyed this movie! They cut quite a bit out from the book, which left me confused at times. Also, other than Jacob, the werewolves were not as physically fit as they should have been! Nevertheless I would go see it again.

I absolutely loved this movie. It was so true to the book and everything that I wanted to see in there, was in there. The clips with Jasper, Rosalie and the Quiletes was awesome and unexpected.
Don't listen to all of the critics saying that this movie sticks, acting is bad, because they are wrong. And the fact that the movie made 30 million in 3 hours is saying volumes for how good this movie is.
I know I will be seeing this movie again this weekend and probably a couple more times!
