Overall, this movie was not good. The first two were much better, storyline wise. The effects with the wolves was really good in this one but the rest of the movie left you wanting more. My kids loved it, but my husband and I were sorely disappointed. I would recommend waiting to rent it at a cheaper price than going to theaters. It might be worth 5 bucks to see but wasn't worth the cash we spent to see it.

Although not a huge fan of the twilight series my kids are! So, I went and was greatly surprised. It was well written, acted and the action was great. Still not a fan of Bella's constant forlorn look, but it was a good watch!

Loved the story line and loved the FX. This was a great portrayal of the classic romance torn between two loves light and dark side movie with a modern twist. I have followed the movie series and in some cases reading the books later to see how they differed. I really think Stephanie did a wonderful job in writing the saga. She is a great author. David Slade did a great job bringing the elements of the movie together for Eclipse. I really enjoyed it! :)

This was the best "didn't have to read the books" movie of the series yet. However, part of what I liked about the first movie was that I got the inside jokes. Also, some of the items were just so fake, they distracted from the movie...BAD wigs, some of the visual effects were beyond cheesey, etc. (Seriously...with all of the money these movies have made, they can't get better hair treatments?) Based on the promos, I thought it would be more action packed than it was...turns out the promos had most of the action scenes in them. Still, a must see for fans of the books. Likely better on the smaller tv screen at home where the cheap distractions are less noticeable.

If you are into the Twilight saga, you have to see this one for sure! It is the best so far and extremely entertaining.
There were a lot of funny parts and that was cool, since it's so dramatic most the time. Don't miss it in theaters. It rocks!

I have read the entire series and of course I enjoyed myself, but I brought along someone that has never seen the previous 2 films. She explained it was that slow catching up in the beginning, but after about 15 minutes, she understood everything. I heard a decidely male voice yell out during the action sequence, so I think that this one has moved the enjoyment beyond gender lines. It was worth the ticket.

Personally I think that if all of the movies were as good as this one, the series would be more cohesive and flow better together. Basically if all the movies were as good as this one was that someone without reading the books could understand the whole series.
I really hope that Chris Weitz(?) does Breaking Dawn.
The movie in some parts was a little dull but there were also many comedic parts to the movie which made it enjoyable.

Don't get my wrong, I have read all the books and watched the first two movies. I think this film was just a little too cheesy. The action parts were pretty good but I really think that Kristen Stewart does not play the "Bella" that I see in my mind when reading the books. Watching these movies really make me question if the books were any good at all or if I was just at a lull in my reading.

This was the 2nd time I went to watch it...LUV IT, LUV IT..sticks to a lot from the book though they have to fit it into 2 hrs. best of all 3 movies...of course! It's Eclipse!

I wanted something to share with my teen so I read the Twilight series because she was crazy about it and I find myself loving this whole Twilight Saga! Now we have seen each movie as they have come out together, before she sees them with her friends, at her request! I am just as crazed as she is( Well, close;-))! These characters are wonderful! They bring the books to life! I would advise any mom to read the books and get into this with your kids or even your friends! Your never too old to enjoy this!!

Thank you David Slade! he rocked this movie. Though it does help that eclipse is one of the most favored books, Mr Slade did a great job of telling the story. The movie was creative and beautiful to look at.

Once again I fall in love with the series. From movies to books every time I either read or watch I seem to fall right back in love and this movie did it to me again. I love love love the action in it. I think they finaly did an awesome job at portraying who Bella really is as a character. I cango on for days with all my opinions so Im not gonna start but I am going to say EXCELLENT movie, cant wait for breaking dawn part 1, still wish they didnt plan on splitting it........

This was my favorite book in the saga, so I was afraid that the movie would be a let down. It really wasn't! This movie showed the small funny nuiances of Bella's relationships with Edward and Jake much better than the first two movies did. It followed the book very closely, which is a huge MUST for me. I will definately go see it again.
