Eclipse has always been my favorite book out of the series, before it became a saga. I was hoping this movie would convert the skeptics, but I'm not sure. I've seen it twice, once in IMAX and the things I really did enjoy were the fight sequences, the tent scene, and the little lingering camera time on the newborn Bree Tanner, who had a whole novella written about her. What I missed was the time line of events that some of the dialogs between Jake and Bella took place in and some other cute scenes from the book. Now just taking the movie as a Hollywood interpretation it did well, it holds up plot and story line without reading the books, and the CGI Effects for the wolves are really great and the fight sequences give even the guy that got dragged by his girlfriend something to ooh and ahh at.

This was a great movie. It skips right into the middle of the book but it was great I loved it a lot. It sticks close to the book except for the part where Rosalie tells her story.. but still very exciting and romantic and you have to go see it if you are a fan or not! !

Eclipse really stepped it up for the Twilight movie series. The action was great and everybody looked great...the movie had a very cool feel to it. I was way happier walking away from this version that I was walking away from New Moon. Awesome!

Loved the book, hated the movie. The acting is AWFUL (amateur community theater awful) and cringe-inducing at points. No sense of pacing, plotting, or suspense; I was actually looking forward to it being over... Very disappointing.

I enjoyed my experience and the movie. I think it was the best one so far. Laughed as a collective sigh of about 75 women went out, as Jacob appears with no shirt! Good story and can't wait for the next one, enjoy!

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was amazing. I have been anticipating its release for a long time, and it was everything I expected and more! The fight scenes were awesome! And of course Edward was sexy as always :)

Eclipse was very entertaining and did a good job of depicting Edward and Jacob's personalities. As always the book holds a lot more detail, but the director did include key aspects of the book while also adding enough action to hold the viewers attention. It was nice to get to know Jasper and Rosalee a little better as well. Definitely entertaining and worth the wait!

I totally loved Eclipse! I went with my two 11 year old boys who have watched my DVD's of the other 2 movies and really liked them too. They also love Eclipse. Any Twilight fan should totally see this, it is excellent! My favorite scenes are the fight scenes, they were very exciting!

I think this was the best movie in the series so far. The movie followed the fast pace of the book and I enjoyed the background stories on some of the characters (Jasper, Rosalie). I thought the acting was better then the last two movies. I like the fact the movie has remained "campy" rather then a full blown big budget action movie. I love the Pacific Northwest scenes. And of course the love triangle between Edward, Bella and Jacob was heated up a bit. My favorite scenes are still any that Edward was in :-) Team Edward! I am surprised that people would bring young children to these movies. There are some scenes that border on steamy and are adult topics.

I definitely thought the first two movies were better. This movie left out so much detail and then pretty much skipped to the end. My husband hasn't read any of the books and was a little lost at a few parts. They could"ve added another 1/2 hour t the movie to add a little more detail. The 2nd half of the movie was definitely better though.

To be honest I wasn't in "wow" over this movie, but it is pretty good and the best of the three. I think David Slade did an excellant job on the battle scenes and made the connections stronger in the love scenes. I'm more of a fan of the books though. I'm getting ready to take my second trip to see Eclipse tonight.

On terms of a good movie this would be considered one. However, Twilight and New Moon would have to be viewed prior to this in order to understand it at all. The movie seemed to fly by when comparing it to the book, and as I am a major fan of the Stephenie Meyer version, that wasn't such a great thing. Like the other movies, it can't even be compared to the book but the acting did get better so thats always a plus. I feel like the chemistry between characters is much more realistic now and they wrapped up the movie in a manor I much appreciated because it did tie together with the book more so than the previous movies had. Overall, it is a very good movie with action, a little romantic love triangle, and many more amazing visual effects. I would highlt recomend it to any fan just for the adrenaline rush that comes when your favorite characters come together.

My favorite of the series so far! Loved it! I was nervous that David Spade wouldn't do Eclipse justice (my favorite book of the series) but he did. The scenes in the movie were awesome especially the scenery and the depiction of Bella and Edwards love was perfect.

This was a really good movie. Our family of 4 went to see it, with children 7 and 11. Everyone enjoyed it, but it was a bit scary in parts for the 7 year old. I think it delivered what we wanted and expected with continuing the saga. Definitely would recommend, particularly for anyone who has seen the first 2 and enjoyed them. It also leaves you anxious to see what the future will bring in the story.

I really enjoyed this movie the best of the Twilight Saga movies so far. It does have a couple of areas in the movie that are not like the book..... but doesn't all movies do that. It has action and suspense along with the boys fighting for girl. I am definetely going to buy the movie when it is available. I would recommend this movie to anyone..... ...i honestly wouldn't even give this movie a 1 star rating but it made me choose overall rating required....i'll admit before the books became such a fad i actually liked them! but since these movies have come out and u have 50 some odd year old women fawning over a 17 year old boy i have become disturbed. This is a teeneboppers ridiculous love story that was good in fantasy. The acting however is beyond ridiculously slow. I hold more passionate conversations with my family whom which i can't stand! Edward is supposed to be the love of her life yet it is exactly as if there reading lines. period. theres no heart in the story. this is one of those books that should of never became a movie! especially as big as it has become now! robert in no way shape or form is the edward i pictured and will now be type casted as the very pale vampire with no acting skills. Save the $12 don't see this movie in theatre unless u wanna pay that much to catch up on sleep. Don't be suprised if u find urself asleep for what feels like a good hour long nap to find out that only 15 mins of this dreadful movie has passed!! i don't recommend this as a movie if u want to read the books go for it! AND im sick of the commercial saying heart throb a must see! it IS NOT!!!!!!!! and never has been!!!

This Movie wasss like my fave movie of all time! But i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone under the age of 10. Its very romance and action filled! Plus lots of drama! You can alays expect nothing but the best out of the directors of Twilight! Ive seen all three of the movies and theyre alll good!!! But this onees by far the best! :D Cant wait for Part one of Breaking Dawn!!

The movie did an exceptional job with the action scenes. And for those not familiar with the books, it was good to include some of the back story on the Cullen clan. But the slow pacing used by Stephanie Meyer to develop her characters is what makes the audience care about the characters. Not looking for a 3 hour movie but some time should have been used to bring some of the smaller scenes from the book that show the emotional transition Bella, Edward, Jake, and Bella's parents are going through at this point in their life. The scene between Bella and her mother was too rushed. Edward and Jake's conversations with their circle of family and friends about Bella would have given the story a soul. Twilight could be so much more if only the producers were willing to take a chance on making a film and not just a movie.
