Eclipse has always been my favorite book out of the series, before it became a saga. I was hoping this movie would convert the skeptics, but I'm not sure. I've seen it twice, once in IMAX and the things I really did enjoy were the fight sequences, the tent scene, and the little lingering camera time on the newborn Bree Tanner, who had a whole novella written about her. What I missed was the time line of events that some of the dialogs between Jake and Bella took place in and some other cute scenes from the book. Now just taking the movie as a Hollywood interpretation it did well, it holds up plot and story line without reading the books, and the CGI Effects for the wolves are really great and the fight sequences give even the guy that got dragged by his girlfriend something to ooh and ahh at.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
