I didn't care for the first two movies, they seemed thrown together and the acting was horrible. It seemed better this time. Not giving it 5 stars because I've seen way better movies, but this IS the best of the Twilight Saga so far. It seems maybe some of the actors took more lessons though Kristen Stewart could still use some more lessons. Why does she always seem like she's strung out on drugs both on and off the screen??? I think they could have found a way better actress to play Bella, but we're stuck with her.
She played a great Joan Jett....since being strung out on drugs seems naturally becoming to her! LOL

this movie was the best out of the three but thats not saying too much considering twilight. im a die hard fan (read all the books since they first came out) so im hard to please. Kristen Stewart still isnt a great actress and its hard for me to believe she loves edward or even cares for him in particular. action scenes were amazing! still this is the best movie and i did enjoy it.

I really enjoyed it! I thought it was the best so far of the three movies and I really liked New Moon a lot. More action than the others and definitely feels more natural! Stayed pretty true to the book and that's really all I can ask for. Looking forward to the last broken up installment! Interested in how the heck they'll do that lol

I thought that the movie was great. My favorite out of the series was Twilight before but now its Eclipse! It was my favorite book too. I wish they would have elaborated more with the movie because they just barely skimmed over everything. I am thrilled that it was so good and can't wait to see it again.

The third installment of the film did the book some justice. It was great to see that they touched some important points of the book. The vampire "new borns" were portrayed very well, uncontrollable, scary and full of blood lust! Although they only some what touched on the wolf pack's history and imprinting, which is a very key point for the book eclipse and breaking dawn, the intensity of their anger and hate of the "bloodsuckers" was portrayed perfectly. The back story of Jasper and Rosalie was great to see and informative for those who haven't read the books. The extreme struggle between Edward, Jacob and Bella was very heart wrenching both in a good and bad way. And especially when you see the two sides that Bella has to choose from. Either she chooses the safe, warm and undying loving side of Jacob. Or the exciting, formal and utterly romantic side of Edward. There was one thing that was breathtaking and surprising to see and that was Edward's understanding of how to value virtue in the most adoring way. And finally the action-packed fight scene was beyond anything I could of imagined. You can unquestionably see the magnificent power of both the wolf pack and vampires and how rock-hard but not fully indestructible they are. The fight was both a stunning and terrifying battle. Bottom line you have to see this epic movie for yourself.

This Twilight movie was so much better than the last one...so much more action, the fight scenes were great, and the movie just moved along so much better. I was also happy that there weren't any "cringe worthy" moments in this one. The actors were much better this time around, and the director obviously did a much better job with this one. My only complaint about this one is the terrible wigs they have on Victoria and Bella.

It's OK for weird entertainment. I had never read any of the books or seen any prior movies so I was lost in the beginning. Had my daughter not been there to update me on who was who and what was the plot I would have probably walked out. The idea that a so-called innocent girl would choose to die to become a vampire to live eternally by murdering individuals to walk the earth sends a mixed message to young people.

The movie was incredible. Not only did Jacob go without his shirt but the whole cast seemed more involved in this film. Some of the parts, exspecially the kissing scene of Jacob and Bella was exactly as I pictured them while reading the book. I loved this movie and might go see it again in theaters!

The director, David Slade did a great job! I couldn't even keep myself in my seat during the chase and fight scenes! Though, the main actors and actress in this movie, leave a bit to be desired, those with clear ability make up for it. Dakota Fanning is such a great actress, she commands her scenes and it shows!
It was also great to see how the history scenes played out, both for two of the vampires and for the werewolves.
There are still a few scenes that overdo the "cheese" factor, but it's targeted for teen and young adult girls, what can we expect?
Here's to hoping the next two movies are better than this one!
