It's OK for weird entertainment. I had never read any of the books or seen any prior movies so I was lost in the beginning. Had my daughter not been there to update me on who was who and what was the plot I would have probably walked out. The idea that a so-called innocent girl would choose to die to become a vampire to live eternally by murdering individuals to walk the earth sends a mixed message to young people.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
