I thought this movie was better than the first two. The acting continually improves and it was nice to see Rosalie and Jasper branch out and tell their back stories. The special effects are improving also although I think the wolves need to have more mass. They are huge but sometimes look light as feathers.
Charlie again steals every scence he is in!
Overall I like it and would recommend this movie to friends, in fact I already have.

This is my favorite movie of the three Twilight movies thus far. It was awesome. Had action, romance and comedy. The story was very close to the book. The main actors were fabulous. They nailed their characters roles. I plan on seeing it again, and can't wait for the DVD so I can watch it over and over. I look forward to Breaking Dawn.

Of all the Twilight movies, Eclipse stays truest to the actual novel. Loved how the director interjected humor to balance the drama and romance. Will definately see again in the theater. Can't wait until Breaking Dawn!

Best of the Three so far. Felt way more involved in this one than the other two. It kept closer to the book, and the fact a lot of my favorite book lines were in the movie made it satisfying on a whole new level.
Nov. 2011 can't come fast enough.

Definitely the best of the movies so far. Love the bit of humor. I've always been a team Edward gal, but Jacob would be a more natural choice. But we know how this ends. The battle scenes are really good. Saw it twice, going to see it again tomorrow...woo hoo.

It was a lot better than the first two movies. I loved the action scenes and the actors also improved. I liked how you got to see more of the Cullens besides Edward and Alice. Great job and I look forward to Breaking Dawn.

I can't get used to Kristen Stewart as Bella. Her acting has not gotten any better since the first one, she has 1 facial expression, no emotion. Taylor Lautner was good, Edward good, but all in all I wouldn't recommend it.

Awesome! The battle scene against the newborns was fantastic! I think the battle scene will open husbands and boyfriends up to see the movie in theaters. I have seen it twice, once in a regular theater and again at an Imax. It definately gets you excited for the release of Breaking Dawn. All of the actors and actresses did such an awesome job. Team Edward all the way!

Bella wasnt as mad with Edward as she was with Jacob and the movie didnt accurately portray that. However, that being said, this installment of the Twilight series was the best overall. Had New Moon had as much attention to detail as this one, it would easily be my favorite. The action was great but not too gory. Love all the movies and the books! A definite go see, worthy of the time and money spent. Its a teenage lovestory with twists!

Let's face it, the book is endless Bella-angst, and so is the movie. A bit fun, but not great literature.
Bella's not the strongest female role model one could choose. She withers away when her boyfriend leaves, and has no desire for anything more than to be with him.

If you are a Twilight Saga fan, this is the best movie version so far. Better acting - actual emotions; better budget for production, characters look more liked described in books. Some scenes from book combined in the movie, but over all a good movie. Chase scenes & battle scenes were right on; loving the wolves! Looking forward to Breaking Dawn, part 1.

The acting, make-up, and special effects have improved with each movie. I agree with one of the other reviewers that the actors appear to be more comfortable in their rolls. After reading the books, I knew what to expect. I enjoy the way it was converted into a movie. I can't wait for Breaking Dawn.

I liked the action in this movie...I love the wolves!!! And I like the fact that I got to see more of the Cullen family this time. They also give background onthe wolves and vampires which is cool. The triangle is intense between Bella, Jacob and Edward. I choose Jacob!!! lol I want to go see it again.

This movie stayed very true to the book. The details that were included made for an incredibly awesome experience. There could have been a little more development of the story between Sam, Emily and Leah, but otherwise, the story was so close to the experience of reading Stephenie Meyer's fantastic and well written story. I applaud both Robert Pattinson (Edward) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob) for the development of their characters. I love this series, love this movie and cannot wait to see it again and again until part one of Breaking Dawn comes out next November!

Even If you have not read the books Eclipse delivers. If you not a fan of Twilight this movie should have changed your mind. I've seen it twice and can't wait for the DVD release. I attended the experience with co-workers and we all loved it .

I am a die hard Twillight fan and have read all the books several times. This was a hard movie to watch compared to reading Eclipse. They shortened so many scenes and switched the order around and missed out on so much. I don't know why the make-up artist is so determined to make the vampires look even more vampiresk because in the story they are supposed to blend in with the neighbors. This is my least favorite Twillight movie.

I did like the movie and it is my favorite of the 3 so far. I loved the books and have read them many times and at this moment I have seen Eclipse 3 times. The thing that would have made it excellent for me was if they would have not made it appear that Bella was always angry at Edward and flowed alittle more with the book on how she would be angry at Jacob.
