OMG!!!! I was so excited to see this movie. Just how I expected it, the movie was an amazing experience to me. I don't know about everyone else, but, this is one of the best movie out of the saga. Absolutely positively 5 stars out of 5 stars for me!!! Definitely seeing it again. The best scenes for me was definitely the "tent scene" ; "proposal scene." Also the scene of which Bella talks to Charlie about marriage and Charlie talks her into not making mistake- that scene was hilarious to watch!. One of the best Love Story ever made in existence! Talk about <3

I love the book, but the movie lacked a few key pieces that are in the book. They also changed a lot of scenes around. Don't get me wrong, but I do like the movie and I'm interested in how they are going to make the next book into the two movies as they claim they are going to do. I wish they would have kept Edward with the six pack abs he was supposed to have. I will still recommend any one I know to see this movie.

As far as the Twilight Saga goes this one was much more fun than the other two. Melissa Rosenburg was spot on with the books whitty banter. David Slade brought a darkness to the movie without tipping it over into a horror flick.
This was a fun movie for me. However, I was extremely disappointed in the change from Rachelle LaFever to Bryce Dallas Howard. She is not a bad actress, but just bad as the character of Victoria. She did not get who Victoria is. Victoria is feral, beautiful and deadly. She is not soft and pouty. Her make up was horrible and tended to make her look more like a cheap whore. Rachelle was a perfect fit even though she was not their first choice. She had a natural beauty and a seductive dark manner. She got Victoria. Too bad she signed another contract holding her back. It took me right out of the movies lure every time she was on screen.
Fun movie otherwise :)

I loved the movie. It was the best one of the Twilight Saga. So much more action. Love the triangle of Edward, Bella, and Jacob. Even though you know who gets the girl it is amazing. I know there were differences between the movie and the book, but it was still great.

I must confess that I was looking VERY forward to watching the third installment of this series; however, I was sorely disappointed and for the first time I was wondering when it would end. I guess the only thing I could say is that I felt like the screenwriter lost his/her edge when adapting this novel to the silver screen. Too much building up to a short scene; too much melodrama and even more pauses as people speak (can we finish a sentence in one breath, people?"); but there were a couple of good one-liners. However, one-liners didn't make up for the complete babble-laden dialogue. Bella's character is starting to look like a farce in this one. Jacob's starting to look pathetic for not finding another hottie that can appreciate his abs. And Edward is Edward. The scene in the tent showed a very humanistic side of Edward...but alas it was mired by terrible surrounding situation and dialogue. The first two had me hooked. This one I found myself looking for something better.

Still good as the Twilight Saga goes, but Bella needs a little umph! to keep things interesting. Here are these two, gorgeous hunks, Edward and Jacob and they're risking their lives for this so-so teenage girl. Can't they make her up more or give her some type of edge? Her character just really brought the movie down.

Great acting. Scene when Jacob is warming up Bella in front of Edward and how they relate to each other while protecting her was great. Also, when Bella tells Jacob she loves him before he goes to battle, Kristen did an awesome job. You can see her intensity. Great fight scenes, much better makeup application (they still look "different"). The love story is still there and it is getting better in every movie. Will see it again and again.

The fact that I did not see the first two movies might have been a problem, yet I went with a friend that brought me up to speed. I look forward to seeing the first two, now. I, also, see how and why so many people are so passionate about the story and it's characters...very spell binding.

Billy Burke - perfect as Charlie, exactly right on as a teenage daughter's Dad.
Taylor Lautner - better and better, really growing into the part. Had best lines in the movie "Fun isn't she?" and " I am hotter than you".
Robert Pattinson - The boy can act, he knows how to make females yearn for their own 'vampire angel'. Too bad men aren't really like that anymore. Loved the scene where he comes out of the car loaded for a fight when Jacob has kissed Bella against her will. That is exactly how a man who loves a woman would react, not by blaming her, but by wanting to protect her from assault. I like the kid and do hope he isn't as lacking in sense as he seems when interviewed.
Kristen Stewart - Still can't act. Almost thought she had improved, but she couldn't even make it look like she enjoyed kissing Taylor Lautner, something every female from 14 to 40 would love a shot at. Even guys I've discussed the movie with say (without knowing my opinion on the subject) that they are disappointed by her portrayal of Bella and do not find her particularly feminine or attractive.
Chase and Fight scenes terrific if a bit hurried and hard to follow. Emmett & Paul as opponents and then allies - cool touch.
The young lady portraying Bree did a great job! She really emoted well in the short scenes she had. Dakota Fanning is eerily scary as Jane. Xavier Samuel was a bit old to play "Riley", but he did OK.
Always love Ashley Greene, she is spot on as Alice and so professional as an actress. Even though she is a better actor than some around her, instead of making them look bad by comparison she makes them look better.
Rachelle LeFavre - MISSED! Replacement lacking everything that made Victoria Victoria.
Overall worth seeing on the big screen and I will buy the DVD, but I am a fan of the story.

I read all four books and so far the series stayed pretty close to them. I enjoyed this one because it had more action. Also the love triangle worked well. I can not wait to see the movie for the 4th book. I noticed that the actress who protrayed Victoria was not the same. Too bad.! I was glad to see that the majority of the actors were the same. I would hate to see them changed. in the 4th movie.. Overall, I enjoyed the move and would recommend it.

Of course There are things I’d love to see that were left out, Bella’s crying over crushing Jacob yet again, this time finally and forever and for putting Edward through holding her while she cries but, there is only so much one can put in a movie that is 2 hrs and 4 min long.

This movie is by far the best of the series. It has tons of Action, the romance is still in the forefront of the movie. You get to really see Bella and Edward grow in their relationship. Yes, she has to choose, but life is all about the choices we make. They did an excellent job in keeping more towards the book than the last two movies.

Yes, I love the Twilight Saga, but NO, I am not going to say all the movies were great just because I like seeing the story come alive on the big screen. The first two were not flattering to Kristin or Rob's acting ability. Eclipse highlighted their ability and the connection the actors have. Rob (Edward) was directed WAY better in this movie than previous. Eclipse was such a better movie and its because of the director. Rosenberg...finally she used some of the dialogue from the book. Big mistake to neglect that in the previous movies. Huge kudos for doing so in this film. Great all around..funny and dramatic. Way to go!
