Great but not excellent!

I am a Twilight fan and have been waiting for a long time to see this movie. Then it gets here and a lot of the 1st half of the book is missing!! WTF!! Considering that they split the book into 2 movies you will think they could accomodate more of the book than in just one movie.
And to boot, the order is off and there is stuff in the movie that looks childish and comicky. Action scenes are great ( the director is a guy so that explains it) but the romantic stuff and the angst stuff (with Jacob and the wolfs and Jacob and the Cullens) is pretty dry indeed.

AA! Absolutely Awesome

Great acting. Scene when Jacob is warming up Bella in front of Edward and how they relate to each other while protecting her was great. Also, when Bella tells Jacob she loves him before he goes to battle, Kristen did an awesome job. You can see her intensity. Great fight scenes, much better makeup application (they still look "different"). The love story is still there and it is getting better in every movie. Will see it again and again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Absolutely awesome movie. Loved the special effects, loved how they brought the Volturi and the town to life. A beautiful love story was handled very well and very close to the book. Kudos to the screenwriters.
And Jacob, OMG; Taylor looked amazing. He sure does not look like a 17-yr old. I don't remember them looking like that when I went to HS but I guess if you are a werewolf, that is what you should look like. Again, awesome movie. Will be seeing it again.
