In this section of the twilight Saga I feel that it has just gotten better. Do not misunderstand me, the first two were good, but this one seemed to stick somewhat more with the book and I liked that.

This movie is the BEST movie I have ever seen in my life! I just started watching the Twilight movies but this is by far my new favorite movie and the BEST Twilight movie I have seen! I don't know how the last movie will top this, but I would HIGHLY recommend this movie to ANYBODY. I love it!

If you read the book(s), no surprises here. And if you liked the first movie you will probably like this one too. For me, it was a yawn. I went with someone who really likes this stuff so I am happy that she liked it but it seems pretty low end to me, not even as good as the first one. The books are better, if you haven't read them, do yourself a favor and do. At least then the movie(s) will be more like a set a cinematic interpretations from a more complete source instead the lightweight thing it is.

Great movie! Loved it! This is the best of the 3 so far. Of course once you have read the books you always want there to more detail, but considering the time frame I thought they did great! People who do not normally watch these movies will enjoy them as the acting is wayyyy better and there are more fight scenes. As for us girls/ladies/women...well Edward and Jacob...need I say more :) LOVED IT!!!! *****

Spot on! This is the best film in the series to date, and I can't wait for the next installment. The acting is also the best in the series and is evolving as the characters continue their journey. This film has a cohesive story line and fills in some of the back story that makes you appreciate the complex and complicated choices that Bella, Edward and Jacob are facing. It's a fascinating look at their world, young love, loyalty and security. Everyone should enjoy it - you won't see a more entertaining film this summer!

I think it was great. However I think they skimmed through alot of the basic conversations and meeting that the characters had too fast. It was all a big blur untill the "epic battle" and then all the sudden it slowed and stopped. All I am saying is I enjoyed it but Breaking Dawn better kick some major butt.

This movie has brought the series to a whole new level--the acting has improved TREMENDOUSLY. All of the actors truly seem to be their characters. The dialogue was much more natural and entertaining. Being from Seattle originally, I loved all of the little details they added to make the movie more believable (as believable as vampires and werewolves can be...). I haven't been to a movie in a theater in a long time, but I would definitely go to see this again.

I loved the softer feel of this movie. The Cullens looked more real and definitely less artificial then in the previous movies, though I was not a fan of Mrs. Cullen's new hair color. The action was great and the romance was portrayed well. The best addition though, were the back stories for Rosalie and Jasper!!

Well aware, that I'm not exactly the target audience, being that I'm 38 years old and male, for the Twilight franchise, but my dear significant other convinced me to come along, just as she did with the previous two movies in this series. That being said, ths movie is incredibly dull with long dialogues, poor acting and incredibly little action.
The movie builds on the girl's choice between the two good-looking boys, one a werewolf and the other a vampire and without sayin too much, she isn't totally sure in her choices, even if she professes to be. Secondarily, the other main plot is a battle between some recently "hatched" vampires and the established clan which has aligned itselt with the werewolfs. However, everything is over relatively quickly which leaves you, the viewer, with that empty feeling "is that really it?". Sadly, it is. The movie should have been at least half an hour shorter, because two hours is far too long for such an empty story line. What's worse, the franchise will continue with more plots along the same kind of plot line.
You really have to be a major Twilight fan to enjoy this movie. My dear girl friend likes Twilight a lot, but even she found this movie very boring.

This movie has got to be one of the best movies I have ever seen. Despite all ythe Twilight movies having different directors, david Slade, has set the bar very, very high for whoever is making Breaking Dawn. This movie's dynamics are so much better than the last two films. I love how you can feel how all the charcters motions towards each other especially between Bella, Edward and Jacob. this movie is full of unexpected twists and funny lines , it is the best movie of the summer so far. There's something for ever one in this film. Theres romance theres action, fights, and humor. Emotions DEFINATLY run high in tehj movie mainly with Jacob. I think that everybodys favorite line in the movie has got to be Jacob's "After all i am Hotter than you." To all of those Team Edward and Team Jacob Fans out there you will find yorself torn between the two no matter how loyal you are.

I loved the movie Eclipse. I do think New moon was better but they did an amazing job at the fighing and action in this movie as well as the previous movie. I would tottaly recommend this movie to my friends and family. I will be watching this movie alot more before coming out on DVD! Go Vampires! Edward Looks amazing, so does Jacob.

OK so i'm totally into Twilight! But I love the actors and the storyline. They really included a lot more of the book than I thought they would. Missed a few scenes I thought would be great, but seeing Rob in IMAX is the MAX. Going back for a third dose this week. Can't wait. Need it on DVD so I can watch it more often. Breaking Dawn is too far away. Hurry.. Hurry.

I'm not a "Twi-hard" and I've never read the books - really did not care all that much about the first 2 movies. That said this 3rd film in the series is worthwhile - better than the first 2. The actors are maturing, the dialogue is better, the pacing and script is better. I liked the editing much better in this one as well. Eclipse is just a "meatier" film. It gives all of us something more substantial we can "sink our teeth into". The dynamic tension between the werewolves and the vampires is well portrayed and the caste system within the vampire world is interesting. The romance is there in all it's glory for the 13 to 22 year old females but the special effects action battle/fight scenes are satisfying enough for male viewers. See it!

As an avid fan of the Twilight book series, I was highly disappointed in the last two films. Eclipse was completely different for me. It was absolutely amazing in every sense of the word. David Slade did an amazing job as director. The fact that he stuck as close to the book as possible made me love it even more. If only he were directing Breaking Dawn. I have a feeling that will be a let down because of the depth they'd have to get into in order to make it work. All in all, I would definitely pay to see Eclipse in the theater again and I did NOT feel that way about the previous two films. TEAM EMMETT (aka neutral)!!

Mostly Loved it! Am and always will be Team Jacob! I wish the director and screen writer would have included some key scenes in the movie from the book between Bella and Jacob. The true level of Bella's new found revelation that she really loves Jacob left something to be desired. The 13+ pages of dialog between the two after the battle was whittled down severely, the statement by Jacob referencing the book title was left out and the last scene when he receives the wedding invitation from Edward. Also Bella's hysterical sobbing scence post the goodbye scene to Jacob. Perhaps that is because they were focused on making you believe Bella was making a mature decision/choice with Edward and sticking closer to the book may not have accomplished that. Loved the visuals though and I will go see the movie again.

Having read the books until the binding came loose, i was pleased to see that the majority of the movie was word for word from the book! As a devoted fan, i was more than thrilled with this movie. It was, shall i dare to say? perfect. Although i wish Bella was cooking for Charlie the whole movie. they managed to combine the perfect parts of the book to make the movie a respectable length, without missing anything too important. I can't wait to see how the 4th turns out! loved it. . . TEAM EDWARD<3
