I really enjoyed this one! It was sexier, and way more action than the previous movies. Each movie seems to get better. This was my favorite of the books and I think the best of the movies so far. How the wolves interacted with the actors was great. I think Leah and Seth are both casted well. David Slade did a great job. I enjoyed hearing more of the Cullens; Jasper and Rosalie especially. It was good hearing Charlie more too. The flashbacks were done well. Again, a really good job of keeping to the book and making it so enjoyable.

Finally, they got it right. The producers pulled together the right writer and director to have a Twilight Saga movie that is actually like the book. They left in the humor that Stephanie Meyer always put into the books. The action was crisp, clean and believable . The story kept moving forward without unnecessary added scenes and no plodding along as if someone was not sure of the next line. The entire cast was excellent. David Slade was able to entice the best from his actors. When you see this film, prepare for some fun and an outstanding good time.

My daughters went to see the movie and loved it. They really enjoyed it. They did say that it was very close to the book (yes they read the book first).

The movie has some funny parts to it, we are starting to see the whole picture of Edward. We get more of a background of the Cullens, which helps us to understand them and the powers they possess. I am a true Team Edward fan, but Jacob's rock hard abs are nothing to sneeze about. Definately a reason for Bella to notice him. Can't wait for the next one!!

Well I LOVED IT!! Yes there were some luke warm spots but then hello very few movies are totally enthralling the whole way through. Loved that the other characters got a chance to shine. No matter which team you are on you were getting mad and happy all over the place. Going to see it again! They have all improved and I can't wait for the Breaking Dawns!!

I just got back from seeing Eclipse. It was really good, but maybe I shouldn't have reread the book last week, because there were many, many scenes in the book that Melissa Rosenberg just didn't get. They should have done them just like Stephanie wrote and they would have been great! The bed/proposal scene was too abbreviated; they left out about half the conversation in the tent, and the sex talk with Billy was just lacking compared to the hysterical writing in the book. And the biggest disappointment was that Bella just commented that Alice was planning the wedding. I was REALLY looking forward to the scene where Alice guilts Bella into not only being at the wedding, but planning a real wedding instead of a drive-thru chapel in Vegas. It would have been fabulous! And how can you get enough of Alice!
So maybe if your memory is not as good, then you will think it is perfect. In fact, a few scenes were better than the book, because they were acted out, instead of Rosalie, Jasper, etc. just telling their side of it. The fight scenes were excellent, too. It could have used a few more minutes of that, especially Victoria's final scene. It was so short it was kind of anticlimatic.
I don't think fans would have minded another 10-15 minutes to better transition, explain, elaborate, and add the missing dialog. We would have loved it. How many of us were disappointed when a Harry Potter movie wasn't 3 hours long?

I didn't love Eclipse. There was more action and the action was good, but the romance seems to have taken a back seat. I wish the tent scene was played out more. Edward doesn't seem to do much anymore other than look like he's listening to all the voices running thru his head. I wish there was more dialog between Edward and Bella. The film was done well but not a WOW on the Edward and Bella front as far as I'm concerned.

This movie was a thousand times better than the other two movies. Robert and Taylor did an amazing job in their roles this time, and Kristen is so much less awkward in this movie. Overall I was finally proud of the movie, with few disappointments. I'm going to see it again today!!

enjoyed the beauty of Bella and that Kristen Stewart was a much better actress this time. Enjoyed getting more out of the supporting case instead of just Bell, Edward & Jacob.
This is not acceptable for younger children. Many sensual scenes and scary fight scenes.
I thought this was the best movie out of the three.

Of the three, this movie was definitely the best. Over the whole course of these three they have gotten progressively better in both acting and in CG. Love it! Also, I could actually stand Edward in this one. He was funny and a lot more relaxed, which is how it is in the books too. I liked him a lot better in Eclipse, both movie and book. Jacob, of course, was absolutely hilarious and I loved the tent scene between Jacob and Edward. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family because it is entertaining, suspenseful (even if you have read the books), and has enough drama, action, and thrills balanced with humor, romance, and everyday life.

I thought the movie was terrific. Had many comedic lines that kept the audience chuckling, the romance the girls long for, and just the right amount of moral substance to keep the parents excited to keep this saga in front of their younger kids. The actors were great, Rob and Kristen's chemistry is undeniable.

This movie was excellent! I thought it was totally better than the first two... so much more action, plot, and the acting was 10x better. The characters looked better, escpecially Bella, she was actually beautiful. The movie stayed very true to the book and I was so excited to see that they included so much of the history from the book. The way the actors played off each other, mainly Jacob and Edward, was a joy to watch. All of them really found themselves in this movie and they played very convincing roles. This was the first movie of the Saga, that I felt the same emotions as when I read the book, and that is not easy to do... WELL DONE!! Waited on line for 4 hours to see it at 11:59... most def worth it! Can't wait until Breaking Dawn :)

I liked the movie a lot more than Twilight and New Moon. They did a better job with the special effects and made them look a little more realistic. I still think that Kristin is a terrible actress though, she is always so blank and monotone throughout the entire movie. I guess the screaming immature teens in the theater didn't help me love the movie.

There's something so viscerally intoxicating when you can see Edward, Bella and Jacob's luscious visages on the big screen.... the texture of Edward's creamy skin, the romanticism in his eyes, and then to FEEL surrounded by the sexy texture of his voice -- it's almost too much to bear!
And let's just say that Jacob's tanned taut muscled body, and those of his wolfpack brothers -- well, it just all works. It's fun, it's easy going, it's intense, it's enjoyable. And it's very very yummy!
And Bella. I forget how physically beauty she is. In her 'real life,' she has such a harsh/edgy look to her, but in this movie, she has a softer more not-from-this-era beauty. Soft, fragile, strong, uncertain, powerful. I can't wait for her in Breaking Dawn, I feel like they're starting to beautify Bella more for her future transformation.
And my God, their eyes. So flawless and mesmerizing. It's just so fun to see such physical beauty AND feel the intensity of their emotions all around you.
It's like gorgeous eye-candy, and who doesn't want some of that. And of course the storyline, the acting, the scenery, the music... it's all good and fun and delicious and exciting and exhilarating.
Definitely gotta go back for a few more rounds!!

i thought overall it was a great movie. The fight scene should have definitely been longer because it was intense and kept me on the edge of my chair. If they made that scene longer it would have been amazing. There were some really funny moments and i loved every actor in the movie. All of the new actors playing the new borns were great. This movie kept you on edge. It is without a doubt the best of the saga. I thought it was funny while sitting in the theater and the movie started to play and no one had any idea until the logo "Eclipse" showed up. The whole movie itself was well thought out and pretty good. Once again not following the book in any sense though i can actually make an exception for this one because the movie was that good.

This movie was by far the best of the 3. Stayed true to the book and the fight between the vampires, werewolves and newborns was terrific. It also gave us the back story for Rosalie and Jasper and you gotta love those werewolves. Moved along at a good pace. Highly recommend this movie. Go Team Jacob.

I thought it was well worth the wait, definitely the better of the three. I thought everyone stepped up their game in terms of acting. Truthfully, I think they need to re-evaluate the writer of the film, she tries to get in too many facts from the book in one dialogue scene. And I also think the writing affects the acting, when everything seemed so scripted. I think the super trio (Kristen, Rob, and Taylor) did the best they could with the material they were given. I'd definitely see it again, the action scenes were very exciting.

Eclipse is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen. I am an avid lover of the books, and have read each of them at least 14 times. I didn't think that the books would be well portrayed but to my extreme delight, I was wrong. This movie is intense, action packed, yet will appeal to all our hearts, after all who hasn't had to make a tough choice? This movie is a must see!!!

Is better than the last two..but still missing some of the most improtant parts of book between Bella and Edward in my opinion. The action part was ok, but not that great....It should be a little longer than 2 hrs, since is not enought to cover a book such as the twilight series. .

Look, putting aside the fact that I love the book franchise and have, to this date, been to the midnight releases of each of the movies I have to say that this one was kind of terrible. The premise and action, even some dialogue were very close to what was in the book - but my word, would someone please get Kristen Stewart some acting lessons? Honestly, I like the awkward actress but she ruined it for me. It's hard to truly appreciate what the director, producers, and every other helping hand on the project did successfully when all you can think about is how unbelievable the cast of actors are. Overall it was okay, and I like the rest of the Twi-hards out there will go see the final two instalments.
