After Star Wars, Avatar is a next movie I can watch for hundret tmes ;-)
Seeing it in IMAX 3D is like participting in a great moment of filmmaking history, but for God sake don't be late for the movie so you don't have to seat in front rows. It will only make you dizy.

Had no idea what to expect and I'm not really a scifi kind of movie goer but this movie changed my mind 100%! Loved the cinematography and the effects were AMAZING especially in 3D! If you are on the fence, go see this movie!

The Theatre should not sell the first two rows of the theatre. Or give people that had to sit there their money back. Horrible painful experience. My head wss spinning and I had to walk out within an hr of the movie.

The best movie I have seen in a decade.The IMAX 3-D really puts you in the movie.The movie is still so good you don't need IMAX 3-D to enjoy it.My brother in law saw it on a regular screen and came back saying how great it was.I have now seen this movie twice in theaters.I hate seeing a movie twice and have never seen one twice in theaters until AVATAR !!!

This was an excellent movie! My husband and I really enjoyed it. Our son is an animator, so we could really appreciate the computer graphics that went into the movie. It was compelling in that it drew you into the story very quickly and you identified with the people who were acting. You could not distinguish when watching that large parts of it were computer generated. The movement in the faces and the characters were very life like. Although the movie was almost 3 hours long, you forgot the time and just enjoyed the experience.

My husband and I went to see this movie, we go to movies once a year- if that, usually wait for it to come out on DVD. We are so happy that we didn't! We were awestruck at the visual effects- they are simply stunning! After the movie, we wanted to call everyone we know, but it was 1am!
We have 3 grown kids and took 2 of them to see it, loved it again! Then my sister and her two kids went to see it, on us, and they loved it! My son has to see it yet and is going to this weekend, and my husband and I may go again!
I cannot say enough about this movie-it is a great and much needed diversion from the realities around us.
We will never pay to see a regular movie again. IMAX 3D is the only way to go!

Saw this in the Imax 3D and it was the most incredible experience! The technology was so AMAZING, it felt like you could walk right into the world of Pandora.
And what a story! Really makes you think about what we're doing as a country, as a human race, just taking what we want, when we want. I fell in love with the main characters and found them to be so believable.
WORTH EVERY PENNY-- You must see this in Imax 3D if you have a choice. (Our theater had it in regular film, 3D, and Imax 3D)

I've seen it three times now, each time with different family and friends. The visual aspect was simply stunning. I think everyone should see it, and in IMAX 3D if possible, as it is truly an amazing experience.

I saw Avatar on the day it opened in 3-D and IMAX and LOVED it. I loved everything about it and hope that there will now be a stream of Avatar movies, continuing the saga.
I loved it so much that I went to see it again this past weekend. I didn't want to let it go out of the theaters before I could enjoy it again.
My two all-time favorite movies are Titanic and Avatar.

this movie basically changed my life. the last 3D movie i saw was Michael Jackson and Captain Eo at Disneyland. wow. what a difference a few decades of technology makes. Well worth the money, infact, i saw it twice and would see it again. Well done, well done I say!

I saw this movie the first time in 3d at the Warren Theater and I don't want to take anything from them but the clarity of the movie in 3d at the IMAX theater was far superior, I have no idea as to why but it was better. The sound at the Warren theater I thought was better, but as far a 3d movies go I will definitely see them only at the IMAX theaters.
The movie AVATAR was just as great the second time seeing it as it wast the first. This is a definite must see move.

We saw this first in just 3-D. Loved it and went with friends to see IMAX 3-D. Incredible! Can't say enough about it. If this doesn't win multiple awared, Hollywood is crazy! All the reviews say the same thing: Incredible! Outstanding! Awesome! Beautiful! We want to move to Pandora and fly birds! A must see for everyone. Visual effects above and beyond anything imaginable.

This movie is a paradigm shift in movie-making. I hate to date myself, but I remember seeing Star Wars as a kid in 1976 and the special effects were a huge deal. This is the next giant leap into the movie-making future. And you can't miss it in IMAX-3D. The imagery and the action are unreal. This movie made a powerful impression on me. LOVE IT!!!

I watched the movie once before on a regular screen and enjoyed it very much. A friend recommended the IMAX experience so I took her up on it. There are things I would never have noticed had I not seen it in 3D. I felt like I was there! Not just watching but with them on the planet, in the ship or in the air flying. Wherever the scene is taking place it feels like you're there too. It was awesome. There is a big difference between watching a scene and feeling like being in the scene.

I've been anxiously waiting to see this movie and it was well worth it!! IMAX 3D is amazing. Very well done, not gimmicky. Pandora is amazing. I can see why people actually get depressed because they don't really live there! Great story to match. Actually has many messages but nice to just enjoy as well. Will go again, taking my parents!!!

Visually stunning. The special effects kept me engaged for awhile, but the plot was a bit tedious. A couple of times I thought I was having a flashback to the original Star Wars movies with the robotic army scenes. Overall I am glad I saw Avatar for the wonderful visuals.
