I watched the movie once before on a regular screen and enjoyed it very much. A friend recommended the IMAX experience so I took her up on it. There are things I would never have noticed had I not seen it in 3D. I felt like I was there! Not just watching but with them on the planet, in the ship or in the air flying. Wherever the scene is taking place it feels like you're there too. It was awesome. There is a big difference between watching a scene and feeling like being in the scene.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
