The movie starts off with the kid going off to college, from that point on the movie starts in the action. The story was not all that great, but the special effects and the sound from the IMAX theater was out standing. I do believe that if you are going to see Transformers, you are not going for the Story Line, I mean it is not a love story BUT AN ACTION FILM. GREAT JOB I WOILD SEE IT AGAIN.

If you are a fan of action and amazing SFX then you should see Transformers 2 in IMAX. It had a nonsensical plot and some attempts at humor fell flat, but you should know going into a movie based off of action figures that this isn't going to be The Godfather. The 2 1/2 hours flew by and it was cool to see some off the new versions of the Transformers. Overall it was a great popcorn summer movie in the tradition of Independence Day.

A great action-packed, entertaining film, overall. Action sequences, both visual and audio, were superb. Needs work on interaction between the robots and humans, though...did not fit well. Too much over-the-top humor took away from the theme of the film. Some robots were just too cartoonish (and unnecessary). The excess attempts at humor was what took away the awe of the film...from serious to joke to emotional to joke, etc. Again, overall a great film to watch. I'd get this on Blu Ray to watch the action scenes over and over.

Lame...lame...lame. I was a HUGE transformers fan as a kid and I swear if they had just stayed true to the original plot they could have had a great movie. The comedy was awkward and not funny. I saw this movie twice once on a regular screen and again on IMAX. The detail on the IMAX screen is amazing as well as the sound effects. I took my teenage nephews and my 95yo grandmother...they all loved the movie.

imax is bananas! what an experience. the only drawback is going back home to watch a movie on my 46" sony bravia felt like watching a movie on my itouch screen. the sound effects were amazing, dolby was great and visual experience was perfect overall. as for the movie, honestly, there wasnt much of a storyline. the original was better because it built on story. this sequel was all about action. i like romcoms, dramedies and thrillers but transformers was okay. the cgi was killer tho. my 11 year old absolutely loved it. she cant wait to see harry potter, which will be her first harry potter movie and we can only see it at an imax theater.

After hearing what Megan Fox had to say about the movie (something about bad acting), I went in expecting great graphics with mediocre acting. What I got was amazing, off the chain graphics with great acting. I admit, the acting in the first movie was a little lacking but Transformers 2 was a huge improvement. Shia does a great job, Shia's parents are great, and John Turturo is funny as ever. Go see this movie, you won't regret it.

This movie was great. Had awesome action scenes with the right amount of comedy sprinkled in. All of the best characters were back (I would have loved to see Anthony Anderson again) and it felt like the movie just picked up where the first one left off.
We saw the movie in IMAX which made it even better. I would have liked to see an IMAX scene closer to the beginning, I don't think the first one happened until about 45 minutes in - it was actually a little distracting because I kept thinking...I thought they filmed scenes for IMAX, where are they? Once the scenes started though they were long and amazing. Hopefully the 3rd will have a lot more IMAX scenes because they just make the movie really come to live.

This is a great summer movie, a true rollercoaster ride. No, it’s not the Reader or Slumdog Millionaire and it shouldn’t be. If you like to have fun this is a must see this summer. The effects are great, there are plenty of cool jokes and Megan Fox is stunning. My wife and daughter said Shia isn’t bad on the eyes for the ladies either. So do yourself a favor, ignore the critics and get in line for you tickets.

I thought Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a great movie. It kept me and my kids on the edge of our seats the entire time! I would highly recommend that anyone who has the chance to see it in IMAX spend the extra money and do so. They won't be disappointed.

I will not say this is a "good" movie, but if you liked the first one then you will love the second one. I enjoyed it, but realized early on that you would have to watch this movie several times, in slow motion, to see even a 10th of the detail in each action scene. A great Saturday afternoon matinee, but at 2-1/2 hours make sure to go to the bathroom before the movie starts. Isabel Lucas gives Megan Fox a run for her money as eye candy, and Shia Lebouf is looking a lot more like a leading man. Like the first movie you just have to turn off your cynicism and just go for the ride. I watched it in "IMAX lite", and thought it looked great.

Great special effects and plot compared to last movie. A must see on IMAX. Can't wait for Blu Ray. The twins and the museum scene was very funny.

RoTF was AMAZING. It was as good, if not slightly better than the first. The plot was great, acting was great, and the action and special effects were off the charts. If it doesnt win best special effects in everything this year, somethings wrong. I'm eager for it to come out on blu-ray for sure. I saw from one reviewer, and I kind of agree with this, that at some parts, during the big battle scenes that you lost track of who wa decepticon and who was autobot (the way I tell is the eyes, autobots are blue and decepticons are orange.) but it was in no way shape or form a deal breaker. AWESOME flick and on Imax, even better.

It was non stop action from start to finish alright,...in a "Cloverfield" sense. The action figures were to complex to get a feel for them...most of the time I couldn't tell who were the villains and who were the heroes. The plot was sketchy at best..(I never did find out what they were all fighting for) Good movie to take your children to due to it's incredible albeit, totally unbelievable, action sequences. The IMAX theater was very nice though.
