If you're a movie fan, and you like to go to every single movie you see on theathers, you must go see this one. Spend a little bit more, 2 or 3 bucks more per person to see it on Imax, the experience is totally dfferent. The graphics of the Imax theathers completely beat the ones of the normal theathers, also the sound makes you feel the movie is actually happening in front of you, all this plus the action of the movie, which takes 99.99 % of the length of the movie, and the different robots transforming and fighting in your eyes, it's totally awesome, it is an experience that you won't feel watching it at home.

Yes the movie was long, but it wasn't too long! There was a lot more humor, especially from Sam's parents, but ithe movie was everything devoted fans waited for. The soundtrack was awesome, the fight scenes were intense, the introduction of new characters never stopped, and of course, there's room for a 3rd movie. DON'T listen to everyone else's reviews and GO SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!!!! If you have the option, DEFINITELY see it in IMAX! The sound effects and sound quality cannot be surpassed! I loved both movies and I'll definitely be seeing it again in its first week of release. Opening night (12:01) was intense!!

The action sequences were beautiful and cutting edge, yet character development, humor and a good story were never sacrificed. I've read some critic's reviews that the plot was hard to follow, but I brought my mom with me, who was by no means a TF fan, and she loved it from beginning to end and had little issues understanding the plot. Now she wants to see the first one and the older 1980s movie with me. I love this movie simply because it made a TF fan out of my mom.

The storyline, graphics and editing as usual was outstanding... the movie was long.. as usual it needs to be... The movie was awesome. If you like the first one, you are going to like this one. Yes, the fight scenes at time can be a little hard to follow, but they were awesome regardless. I loved the sound effects and all the action. And the movie does have a plot(not sure why people are saying it doesn’t).. It may not be the best one ever but with all the action it makes up for it! The only complaint I have is that there was not much human interaction, but the human interaction that was in the movie, I loved. Minus the humping dogs, they were dumb. SEE IT IN THE IMAX!! Excellent graphics as expected of Mr. Bay. I really love how they integrated some essence of the original transformers G1(animated series 1984-1987) and yet managed to create a new story. Some people have complained the movie lacks plot. It does not. If you want to understand the movie better, rent The Transformers: The movie (1986), and you'll get all the meaning you need out of this movie. This movie integrates more humans in the battle. It shows some of our greatest military toys. Humor has been expanded as well on this sequel . The twins are very funny. If you love things that go "boom" this movie is a must and a bigger must if you're a transformers fan.

Of course I knew the story would suck before I purchased a ticket. But I watched it anyway. Juvenile plot. Poorly written dialog. Pleanty of unanswered questions. Heck half of what some characters say you cant understand with the over dubbing of mechanical sounds (poor sound mix). The robotic fighting scenes are just as hard to follow as last time. The only redeeming scene is Optimus against 3 Decepticons. If you saw the extended trailer... you saw the movie. Bottom line it is the most expensive toy commercial ever conceived by man. A Disorganized Disjointed Disappointment. Would be better if they added a Gundam.

This movie was incredible! It was heavy on action and combat and it delivered, and it also had some deeper emotional tones. A bit too much of testical humor, but this movie was hilarious as well! Great acting, incredible special effects. This is definetly one that needs to be watched more than once, and must be watched on IMAX! A far cry from the first film, Transformers 2 boasts more action, more special effects but less semblance of plot and even sci-fi plausability that results in a much less entertaining film for the audience. The content is occasionally comedic, frequently crude (needlessly) and frantic without making much sense or bothering to explain the purpose. Whomever thought it was a good idea to include repeated humping and robot sexuality jokes was wrong. Still, the film looks fantastic, although too often the frantic zoomed-in shots on robot combat end up being completely incomprehensible as you can't tell what "body parts" are being clobbered. Worth seeing, but only at matinee prices. Hopefully the studio will fix what's broken for round 3!

With the perspiration dripping off their faces, conversations rattling on about M-Bay facts pulled off his website, and disputes over who is the coolest new addition to (TROF). The tone is set from the opening credits to the ending scene where O-Prime gets his "Pimp" on, TROF delivers on so many levels. Shia and Megan's characters are believable, but you do tend to get distracted by Megan’s lips. If I can become upset that a CGI robot got his head handed to him on a platter, something is working. Get online, get on the phone, or run to the ticket counter this movie is going to be sold out for the next couple days on its way to a $500, 000 opening! M-Bay did his thing!

The movie was very fast paced and packed with action. It was what I was expecting. Too long, too loud, too many robots, too little story. Rotten Tomatoes Consensus: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a noisy, underplotted, and overlong special effects extravaganza that lacks a human touch. I can't agree more.

In IMAX this movie was insane! The images and autobots and daceptacons look amazing very visually stunning. The new characters in it are soo funny the twins are the funniest transformers ever! Im happy there are more scenes with his parents let just say the make the first part of the movie very funny! One of the best summer movies yet next to Star Trek!

Chills started with the frequencies during the opening credits. Trailers didn't even give a glimpse of the action in the movie. You won't be disappointed by thinking you saw it all.
A lot more "hand to hand" action sequences and A TON more robots (although not all are formerly introduced).
The robot forms are not as detailed in some shots (Tran1 you would see all the close up inner workings of transormations very drawn out/precise movements). This one doesn't focus on the details like that, but more on the action. This allowed for more robots and longer action sequences.
You still won't be disappointed, and it is a great story of the origins.
I will definately be seeing this several more times.

It's hard to top the first Transformers, but Michael Bay managed to make an even better action movie, which also had many less awkward unrealistic lines. Megan Fox looks amazing once again running in slow motion. PS. Optimus is baaaaaaaaaaaad!
