Absolutely LOVED the second one as much as the first. it was great... BUT I completely recomend the only way to watch is in IMAX. TOTALLY worth it!!! reserved seats were great... perfect seats and no pushing or fighting for them :)
yeah there were a few questions that i had by the end...but it was so action packed, exciting, funny, etc. that i dont care about missing info or how did that happen. great movie, cant wait to see it again!

In looking around reading the reviews you might start to gather the impression that this movie is awful. DONT BELIEVE IT! Its all in the attitude you bring into the movie...if you come in looking for an highly intellectual Oscar experience youll be disappointed. However if you go in wanting to see one of the greatest special effects displays to date with some laugh out loud comedy and even a couple serious and touching moments this is the summer blockbuster for you. Arrived at the theater just in time to catch the last preview, however the uninformed staff at City Center 15 in White Plains made me miss the first ten minutes. This bothered me especially when they attempted to seat me in some wobbly wooden chairs after paying top price for tickets. The ushers at this IMAX need to be replaced with competent people. Very displeased with the theater efforts at rectifying their screw up. Movie on the other hand was two thumbs up.

Visually, this film is awe inspiring!! Audio wise, is is very sad. This is a movie based on KIDS toys. Young boys. Why all the swearing, crassness, and humping??? And to have two racially offensive robots, nice move there. Otherwise, I think the action, robots, and story where perfect! Can a new soundtrack be released that is not offensive? Why does Hollywood feel the need to do this to movies all the time. The theater I was in was packed with 10 year old boys, who now think it is funny to call their friends pu$$ies, or maybe go hump a girls leg. Please, make the third one perfect, leave out the stuff that should only be in adult comedies, and make a true family actions movie!!

Out of the 2 1/2 hour movie, I only saw a fantastic 2 hours in the IMAX experience due to the movie theater losing power. But the 2 hours that I saw was absolutely amazing. The crystal clear audio, 12,000 watts of sound. It was amazing and would reccomend the movie to anybody.

If you are one of the people that thought in the first transformers you didn't have enough visuals of the Robots you are in for a Technological Joy ride.
Visually speaking this blows the first film out of the water but still keeps its witty comedy that made it special.
At times it can seem like the story lags a bit or slows down but the 3rd Act brings it rushing into your face.
You must see this in IMAX, seeing it any other way does not give you the full immersion it demands.

We loved it. I took my 3 kids and 2 of their friends to the Imax and we were floored. We've already made plans to see it again! Loved all the fight scenes, explosions and the humor. I think they did a good job, but so much happened, we do need to see it again & again.

T2 is fun, action packed and has some amazing special effects. The story is pretty light though and the film doesn't do a very good job of explaining the story when it even tries.

I had the pleasure of watching this at midnight in a packed IMAX theatre in San Francisco. What I love about event movies like this is the energy of the crowd; there were all sorts of people in attendance: teens, adults, men, women. But, for those two and a half hours, we were all 10-year-old boys playing in the backyard with our action figures, and loving every minute of it. Granted, most of my good will toward this flick is based on the environment I saw it in, that nevertheless improved my attitude of it. The speakers blasting in your ear, the eight-story-tall IMAX screen towering above you, the crowd cheering and clapping at every action scene; it all really makes the experience that much better.

I really enjoyed this movie. Lots of action and comedy. By far blows the first one away. This one is geared much more for adults then kids. I have read critics that say that transformers is for kids, they are wrong. Just because it's based off toys does not mean only little kids buy them. I will probably see this movie 6 more times.

Revenge of the Fallen was by far better than the first. Reason one was because we didn't have to wait until the middle of the movie for the Autobots to be in it. Reason two, Decepticons are in it more and actually talk and act like true Decepticons.
There are things that are not quite explained in the movie. If you want these questions answered I suggest you read the book by Alan Dean Foster. There's Also a prequel to the second movie which says a lot.

Overall this film was very good. The storyline became a bit farfetched, but i doubt anyone will expect the best plot from a Transformers film. The main success of this film comes from the action sequences, which were infinitely more intensive and easier to follow, not to mention simply awesome.

Well, if you liked the first, you're probably gonna like the second. If you hated the first, you'll probably hate the second. Really for me, this movie was a mirror image of the first with an extra dose of action, special effects, and comic relief. I went to the midnight showing and waited 3 and a half hours to watch it, and I don't regret it (if that tells you anything). Perhaps I'm biased, but if you also like anything mechanical and kickass, then you'll love this. My only complaint is that the ending seemed a bit rushed and anticlimactic. But alas, I'm sure there will be another one to follow to make up for it.

If you liked the first one you will love this one. It has at least 50:50 screen time robots to humans. 40+ robots......to bad you do not get introduced to most.........

Truly a phenomenal movie. From the start, they grabbed your attention and kept your adrenaline pumping for 2 and 1/2 hours non-stop. I have to be honest, they went a bit overboard with a college girl character...it was cool but for a minute i thought i was watching Terminator Salvation. The rest was totally awsome, plus IMAX made it even better...
