Out of the 2 1/2 hour movie, I only saw a fantastic 2 hours in the IMAX experience due to the movie theater losing power. But the 2 hours that I saw was absolutely amazing. The crystal clear audio, 12,000 watts of sound. It was amazing and would reccomend the movie to anybody.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I'm not a Star Trek fan, but this movie was absolutely amazing and I think 10x better because I saw it in IMAX format. Great for people who love Star Trek and just as great for non fans who just know of Star Trek.
