The decepticons are back and worse than ever. Their mission is to find the weapon that destroys the sun which would end mankind. It's up to the autobots in a desperate attempt to stop their plan. I find this movie a little bit better than the first one. To be honest to be more appreciated for seeing this movie just see it in IMAX it feels like you're in the movie. Or if you want to pay less just go to a regular theatre and you'll still have one heck of a blast if you're a big Transformers fan or for those who enjoy many action films. Overall best battle between the autobots and the decepticons I've ever seen.

Since this is geared towards ALL audiences and mainly kids, I am surprised at the verbal exchanges and the language of the "twins". At one point they even called the other a p***y??!?! Luckily it was slid in so fast, I didn't have to explain it to my 8-year old.
As far as adults, this movie is great!! Full of action, chicks, cars and decent story line!

This was a great movie! I was a little leary since it was the second one but they did a great job. The action was so fast! I loved the twins and the one liners. I saw it on IMAX. That is definitely the way to see this movie. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.

what can i say about this movie... well let me start by saying that it's full of action, it has comedy, it has drama and it also has megan fox. What else do you want in a movie? If you are looking to see a movie that grabs your attention for 2 and a half hours and dont realize that it's that long,,, then it's really worth. My wife and I saw the movie in IMAX and it was stunning! It was action packed, the movie was fun and very entertaining. We plan to go see it again with more friends this weekend. Don't wait for the DVD because there's nothing like seeing it in IMAX and I'm sure the theater version is great, too!

I had a great time watching this movie in IMAX. The visuals were impressive, the acting was sufficient, the storyline was engaging and the movie delivered exactly what I expected: a summer blockbuster with non-stop action, punctured with comedy, from start to finish.
Thoroughly enjoyable for those who come into it with commensurate expectations. In fact, I enjoyed it so much I think I might be catching it a second time next weekend in IMAX.

My husband and I both thought the movie was phenomenal. The action and Transformers' animation were amazing, and as a bonus a lot of lines and moments were hilarious! My husband said he doesn't think he blinked the entire movie :) Great combination of action, comedy, drama, even a little romance that wasn't overdone and didn't distract from the action. Definitely see it on IMAX, it was worth it for the couple of extra dollars per ticket! Looking forward to more from the Transformers series and Michael Bay!

I greatly enjoyed this movie. The visual effects were absolutely beautiful, and I loved all the military involvement. I did not like the humor or Sam's roommate, but all in all those were small sacrifices when you have Optimus Prime in the other hand. I'll definitely be seeing T3.

Cursing? So what, what movie doesn't have it and do you really think your kids don't use those same words at the playground at school? If you can't laugh at a dog, or robot, establishing dominance or showing affection then you need to get a sense of humor.
This movie was incredible! The story line was everything it needed to be. I don't go searching for the meaning of life in movies like this and nobody should. It's entertainment and that's all. The movie had everything expected after reading a myriad of critics and moviegoers reviews. Having said that, I had fun watching it. So did my wife. The stereotypes were unnecessary, but were funny in the way they were used. I've read some reviews prior to seeing ROTF, and some people were saying that it wasn't all that, but I guess everyone has their own opinion. I absolutely loved this movie. Yes, the movie is long, but it makes up for it with intense robot action and the humurous tid bits. I'm glad Michael Bay came back for the sequel and I sincerely hope they let Mr. Bay do his thing, once again, for the third and final film. Hope this helps. =)

This movie failed to reach my expectations. However, I had really high expectations. The characters were excellent (at least the human ones were), the CGI and the Fight Scenes were beyond cool.
However, even though the plot concept was a great idea, they seriously disappointed me by how little they developed that great concept.
I had hoped that this movie would've been the equivalent of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back, in which the Hero doesn't ALWAYS win, but the plot seemed cookie-cutter.
Anyways, I gave this movie four stars (Though 3.5 would've been more appropriate) because the fight scenes, characters and script was great (Some scenes and comments were beyond hilarious) however, this movie could have been SO much more.

As parent of a daughter who is 13, and sons of 9 and 5 years, I cringed numerous times at the cussing. It was unneccesary. I had some issues with the new "Twins" Transformers. With their broke english/ebonics and the gold tooth, I felt it was stereotypical and bordering on racist. (also the main source of the cussing) Aside from all that :) I loved the action, the connecting of the dots from a TFormers historical perspective, and I think the plot was strong. If you can stomach the negative aspects, definitely a must see. I just wish they would make it less R rated and more family friendly.

This thing was all over the place. Never got into this one. Shallow, thrown together jello of a sequel. Hope they do better next time. Save your money on this one. Worth a $2 rental is all.

Transformers 2 was packed to the gills with excitement. It was loud; it was funny; it had a plotline that, while not award-worthy, worked as a good excuse to see the film. Nothing is more intense than seeing a semi truck unfold into a giant bipedal sentient being. The cast is well done, with Shia giving a spectacular college kid performance and miss Fox lending an admirable supporting role. John Turturro is worthy of appraise also. As far as movies go, this is one that just won't be the same outside of the big screen.
