I've read some reviews prior to seeing ROTF, and some people were saying that it wasn't all that, but I guess everyone has their own opinion. I absolutely loved this movie. Yes, the movie is long, but it makes up for it with intense robot action and the humurous tid bits. I'm glad Michael Bay came back for the sequel and I sincerely hope they let Mr. Bay do his thing, once again, for the third and final film. Hope this helps. =)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
