This is the 2nd IMAX film i have seen this season . The only way to see this flick is at an IMAX. It was a little long and the language was a little un-needed. But it is a good film. Can't wait for the next one. The twins were funny but if Decepticons mashed them' I would not miss those little foul mouthed suckers. Die you little F______$ ( you get the idea.). I found it interesting that when they met the old man in the Smithsonian that they ended up in front of the IMAX theatre there. Is that in the regular screened format as well? My IMAX experience was even more fun because it was the first time my movie going freinds had ever been to a digital IMAX all they could say is "WOW"

Transformers 2 gave me what I paid for. Almost non-stop action and giant robots. The story was weaker than the first, but we knew the deal and I wasn't expecting Shakespear. Optimus was awesome but too many one liners. The action was definitely better than the first and worth going to see in IMAX. The fight scene in the full frame was "WOW"! My only complaints are the 2 ghettobots, and for being a movie about "Revenge" the bad guys never really accomplished ANYTHING. I was expecting an "OH NO!!" moment and never really got it. If you want something to see as a summer action flick, SEE Transformers 2. If you want high drama or more substance, you wouldn't be reading reviews for this movie.

This movie was great to see at the IMAX, great action, some hilarious parts you can identify with, with mind blowin graphics. Kept you on your seat with all the new "bots". Buying the tickets online was great for IMAX (only way to do it) and get your assigned seating ahead of time guarantees good seats. I'm ready to see it again.

I found the movie to be crammed with action sequences from the beginning to the very end. The characters played a deeper role this time towards the finally felt myself getting choked up with emotion. We viewed the movie at the local Imax so the sound was awesome. The special effects were well done and gawd, that little girl has grown up. Charmed girls, eat your hearts out.

This was a pure adrenaline rush from start to finish. Great visuals, great sound, and a decent story made this movie fly by even at 2 1/2 hours. Definitely worth the time!

T2 is much better than the first. More Transformers battling each other, more explosions, and more close up's of Megan Fox! There were some witty one liners from Sam Witwickey. Kind of wish they fixed BumbleBee's vocal's from part 1. Pretty cool that they explained when the Transformers first came to Earth and what they needed and the story of the "Primes". Overall if you see this in IMAX reserve your tix in the middle towards the back rows. The screen is so huge that people up front must have hurt necks from looking up for 2 1/2hrs. The Hollywood critics would not know a good action flick if it landed in their lap. They just want Sundance drama's to win all the awards.

I didn't expect much and didn't get much. I disliked the two new autobots (Skids and Mudflap - never even caught their names in the film, had to look it up). Just thought they were silly.
The movie was overall entertaining other than the REALLY LONG ending. The action moved along pretty well, wise-cracks were pretty good. A little potty humor. Won't get any best actor awards but who expect that; the actors are in it for the money, not the art, and who is to blame them.
So my recommendation is to go see it with low expectations. You might be surprised and if you are disappointed, at least it won't be like I didn't warn you. :-)

Transformers 2 was great!! There was a bit more edge to the the Autobots that was really cool and the fight scenes were cleaner this time around making it better to see the action. Some of the parents in my vicinity made comments about the cursing in the early parts of the film, and the two new "Twins" had some suspect behavior and comments.... (" We don't read!). Besides those two things I loved it.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. Too long, too loud and eventually quite tedious. Fans of watching the AutoBots battle the Decepticons will get more than their full of endless fight scenes as the transformers transform, morph and blow one another up over and over again. Somewhere in all of this there is some story that lands them at the Pyramids and Petra as they search for the magic resurrection device. Shia LeBeouf is back as Sam but more importantly Megan Fox gives us ample opportunity to appreciate her charms. Rated PG-13 for language and non-stop violence.

Excellent soundtrack and a beautiful score, the effects were great and the animation was also pretty darn good.
If you're a G1 fan boy, looking for storyline, or searching for 'deeper meaning" in this movie though, this might not be your kinda flick. If you're looking for some views of Megan Fox, hilarious moments and giant robots from space blowing things up, it's awesome. Might not be a great idea for younger kids for some scary moments, violence, drama, and funny moments but for kids who can handle some more mature humor? Awesome

The special effects this time were WAY over the top and far better and significantly more than the 1st movie. I heard a lot of people complain about the plot, but I don't think they were paying attention then. I found this movie's plot to be better than the first, with the hints of the first encounter between transformers and humans, the machine and the (official?) definition of what it meant to be a "Prime", something either never explained in the original cartoon series or something I somehow missed as a child. Plenty of comic relief, sidekicks, yet also very serious, dealing with the relaitonship of the two main characters, along with the army guy's respect of the autobots as fellow "soldiers".

Shia LaBeouf was great in the film. Megan Fox was hot and sexy. Great combo together. CGI was fantasatic (ELM). Can't wait for the next one.

Amazing!! If you don't watch this movie, your missing out. I couldn't imagine how they could do a sequel to the awesome original, but they NAILED it!! The action scenes are very "busy", and can be a little dizzying at times, but that's what we paid for. Don't miss it at the theater!!
