Loved the movie! I took my teenage daughter and 3 of her girlfriends to the movie, and we all loved it! As with the books, it was a wonderful love story, there was laughter, drama, just everything packed in 2 hours and 10 minutes!
Excited for #3 Eclipse.

New Moon was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! The movie just went off the chart it was great I would see the movie over and over and not get tired of it. The graphics were ridiculous!!!! New Moon has the advantage of being better than the first movie, but if the books weren't so popular far fewer people would be willing to watch it. The dialogue was not nearly as awkward as the first and the flow of the movie was much more natural, but the acting was sub par. Of the three main characters Taylor Lautner is the only one with any potential talent. Pattinson seems to only manage dark and brooding, and Stewart simply can not act. Although I did enjoy the movie, I enjoyed laughing at the audiences response to the male actors and teen angst much more.

This movie was great, She still loves him, but he left her, she likes him (but only as friends) but still making him crazy cuz he wants her. I love Robert (Edward) of course but holly buckets the 6 pack on Taylor (Jacob) yummy. This part (new moon) showed more of the werewolf part, me my self & a vamp girl, but gotta tell u, I still like the werewolf especially if the werewolf is Jacob.
All in all this movie rocks cant wait 4 the next 2.

I went last night to see new moon with my gf and I was both suprised and disappointed. I'm not much of a book person but I can take in a movie to its fullest. I loved to animation, and the action. scenes by jacob to be an aggressive actor failed miserably once he started to speak. (I would have been perfect for that role imo lol). but let's face it, the best played is edward. Bella's expresion was the same throughout the movie and I got tired of her quick. But I still enjoyed the majority of the movie because it is a very good interesting movie and I wanted to see what was next. But just lacks the right talent from its performers. So yes go see the movie it is very entertaining.

Plus side: Screenplay cut out boring parts of book where nothing happened, through use of montage. Story true enough to book, better special effects than first movie. Twi-hards will love this movie. More Alice Cullen. Negatives: Wooden acting, laughable dialogue in spots, too many lingering camera shots. Anyone not familiar with the books will go, 'Huh?' In short, this is 4.5-stars for 'Twilight' saga fans and 1.5 stars for non-fans. I'm on the fence, so I give it 3.

Is it worth your money and time? Yes, if you read the books and want to see it on the big screen. But, for the average Jo they will be left wanting. It follows the book closely and is a plot driven move; mostly at the expense of artistic touches that are present in the first move. Gone is the romantic misty blue gray tone and moments held together with interesting camera angles and music. What you get instead is a movie that is trying too hard to be a blockbuster hit. It has some good action sequences, interesting special effects and lots of bare chests. What you are left with is a real on screen connection between Jacob and Bella. The character of Jacob Black played by Taylor Lautner steals the show.

The movie was really good. But I like the book better. They are some stuff i liked about the movie & some things I didnt like. Some parts seem rushed. I didnt like the fact that they didnt show how close jacob& bella really got. In the book they would always hold hands & there friendship was so cute. But in the movie u cant see how cute there friendship was. But I love the voultri screens. & I think the acting so great especially Taylor. Overall the movie was good but the book was better.

I enjoyed this one so much more then Twilight, more action, more following of story. The acting from Kristen seemed more real, you could really feel her passion for both Edward and Jacob. I am anxiously awaiting the release of Eclipse to continue this story. Hopefully it will be as intense and even more polished acting and action wise then this one.
