As always the books r much better than the movies...but this movie was awesome you can tell the budget was bigger compared to Twilight. This movie had you from beginning to end, can't wait till Eclipse! I know it's hard to go from book to screen and keep everything in tacked, what works on paper doesn't always work on screen. But they did a good job keeping in time with the book that being said my only complaint would be some key points seemed a little rushed. That's the drawback of reading the books LOL :)

In all fairness I have not read the series but all movies even from a book series should want to be seen from a wide range of viewers. The beginning was very slow, very scripted and some parts were actually humerous because the acting was so bad. Toward the end it picked up and you could start feeling the chemistry between Edward and Bella. Overall, this movie was average and not worth all the hype.

The movie is awesome! It's a little slow after Edward leaves, but so was the book. I wanted to skip the middle until Edward came back, I didn't, but I wanted to. :) My husband went with me and he really liked the action sequences! I loved the whole thing!!! Great movie!

I do think it could have shown the connection between Bella and Jacob grow stronger, leaving Edward out (although I am a fan of both). This made the Edward fans realize why Jacob is trusting and a strong competitor for Edward. I only hope his role stays this stronge.

This movie was absolutely amazing. I was extremely satisfied with it. It stayed true to the book for the most part. There were a few parts that were different, but not enough to make a big difference. It was much better than the first movie. I highly recommend this movie. =D

This movie was very well put together... well, except for the still goofy looking sparkles on Edward, but overall, way better than the first. This one had comedy and drama... so I laughed and I cried. This also had more substance from the book than Twilight did. I know I had a great time!

Twilight can not even compare to this one with it's rich color and great action scenes. I loved Twilight, but the fact that this one stayed more on target with the book made it even better. I can not wait to see Eclipse and hope they make two movies from Breaking Dawn. I am seeing this one again today.

This movie was fantastic, the jokes, the interaction that Bella has with not only Edward but Jacob too. She was a lot more active in this movie and not so standoffish when it came to expressing her feelings. The action by Robert Pattison was hands down the greatest. The lighting and acting was 100 times better in this movie then in the first one. It definately leaves me wanting more at the end. I cant wait for the next movie to come out

I loved it. I like how it stuck to the book. It was way better then the first Twilight. I cant wait for it to come to dvd so i can see all the deleted scenes. And now i cant wait for Eclipse to come out.

Minus the fact that I could hardly hear the dialogue because people wouldn't stop screaming, I read the book so I knew what was going on anyways, it was a pretty good movie. They made Dakota Fannings role seem so big, yet she only had two or three lines. I was surprised that I was told to put away my cell phone while I was checking the time because I was "distracting the audience." What about the distraction of all the people screaming? No one stopped them! I think AMC did a bad job with audience control. I've seen them turn off movies before because of a rowdy crowd.

The sequel was definitely better than the first movie. The first movie lacked the depth of character development and honestly was a disappointment. To the contrary, New Moon stuck to the story, allowed the viewer to invest in the characters/story line and did a good job of setting the tone for a third movie. :-)
Check this movie out. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have read New Moon three times and thought it was the best from the Twilight series. I was actually hoping the movie would stink like Twilight the movie did, but boy it was awesome. I can't ever say that a movie has been better than the book, but NM the movie was. It made me feel emotions that I didn't from the book. Acting, special effects, everything was better than Twilight. I liked Twilight maily b/c I loved the books, but New Moon is a different story. The film is so well made I cannot believe it! It stayed true to the book which is important to me because I am so passionate about them. The effects were much better than the first. The acting is much better. I thought Robert Pattinson did an incredible job in Twilight, he really took on the character and, using mainly facial expressions, showed us what was going on in Edwards head and he continued to amaze me in New Moon. Kristen Stewart did a great job in New Moon. In Twilight I felt she only showed one emotion, confusion. Ashley Green also did a great job in New Moon. The colors are bright and vivid.! I LOVED IT!

This movie is great for Twilight fans - good job of telling the story and its really visually beautiful (and I don't just mean the boys.) But other than that, I wouldn't necessarily say it's great cinema - pretty corny quite a bit and the acting is nothing special, even annoying at times. It tells the story that Twilight fans want to hear but, if you aren't into Twilight, I don't really think there's much in this movie for you.
