I went to see this movie with fairly high expectations. The last couple Adam Sandler movies disappointed me, but I thought we'd give this one a try, and we were not disappointed! I laughed the whole movie, and we enjoyed seeing all his alumnus from his Waterboy days. We loved this movie, and would see it again!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We went to be entertained and see a lighthearted fun family movie, and we weren't disappointed. Marmaduke was an entertaining and enjoyable movie.
This movie was very well put together... well, except for the still goofy looking sparkles on Edward, but overall, way better than the first. This one had comedy and drama... so I laughed and I cried. This also had more substance from the book than Twilight did. I know I had a great time!
As far as the quality of the movie- effects and IMAX 3D were awesome, but someone had mentioned that the accents were very hard to understand, and that was very true. My husband and I took our 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter, and it literally scared them half to death in a lot of places. I expected frightening scenes because of the 3 ghosts and Marley, but this went beyond that! It was so loud, and combined with the movie was really scary, and unnecessary. I certainly wouldn't call this a family movie to attend if you have young kids. I do, however, think that it was entertaining, and above all enjoyed the movie itself.
We have always had guinea pigs for a family pet, so we were really excited to see "Super guinea pigs!" We weren't disappointed! We took our 10 and 6 1/2 year old kids, and had a wonderful time.
We hesitated in going to watch the IMAX 3D version because we didn't know if our 6 year old would wear the glasses and we also didn't know how good it would be. We were used to the old paper 3D glasses, but we were not disappointed. It was awesome, and our 6 year old had no problem wearing the glasses at all, though they were a little big for her. It was fantastic!
