I was not impressed with this movie at all. I was not impressed with Twilight either. The only thing New Moon had going for it was the fact that it stayed as true to the book as possible.
There was a moment in the movie that you could feel what Bella felt, but it was only for a moment and for those of us that have never felt that kind of pain could not relate. The CGI and special effects were fantastic and the wolves made the movie.
I found that the Volturi of the book were more exciting and instilled fear in their victims far more than the Volturi of the movie, I found them to be stagnate and not very terrifying at all.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie was much better than the first. I would recommend it to anyone who loves the books. (But, chances are those who love the books would see it regardless.) However, if you have not read the books or seen the first movie, it won't be easy to follow. Of course, you could always go just to see Taylor's hot bod!

Things move fast and sometimes rushed, which I'm okay with because this was my least favorite book; however, there is a lot of material to get in during a brief period of time. They did a great job of staying with the book - there were some different things, but they worked.
I can't wait to see it again! If you haven't seen it yet you must!

I just thought this movie was amazing. I truly was worried that it would not be as good as the book, but it stayed so true to the book. The few parts that were done differently (the end) was ok with me. I loved how they ended it and for people that haven't read the books, will really be on edge for the next movie. I am going to see it again tonight and can't wait! This is an awesome movie! Kudos to the great director Chris!

This thismovie was a lot better than the movie critics said it would be. Overall the director did a very excellent job, bringing central characters to life. My wife has read all the books and she has shared with me the the story of Bella ,Edward and Jacob.

Better lighting, acting (in most cases) better makeup/wardrobe/hair, better special effects, way better about following the book story and not going out on it's own. I loved the movie, I don't think it was slow, I saw it twice this weekend, and I can't wait for Eclipse in June!

The movie was GREAT. If you are a Twilight fan, the movie stays a bit closer to he book than with Twilight. Filming was a litle less fast moving than in Twilight. New Moon was definatly better that Twilight. Worth every penny spent on the Movie tickets. A must see movie.

This movie was really good. I liked it a lot better than the first one. Kristen Stewart was a much better actress and the acting in general was better. I thoroughly enjoyed viewing this film. I am really excited for Eclipse to come out in June. The only issue I had with this movie was that some parts were slow. During some parts when the director was trying to make it intimate or serious, it dragged on. Overall though this move gets a 5 out or 5. I would definitely pay 10 bucks to see this again in the theater! fantastic movie!

New Moon definitely lived up to my expectations. The acting was better than in Twilight, the CGI was awesome, and it stayed true to the book, which is what reader's of the series were hoping for! I credit Chris Weitz for revitalizing the saga. Let's hope Eclipse measures up to New Moon.

So much better than Twilight. The movie fits perfectly with the plot of the book. The only changes made actually helped the story line make more sense in movie form. I was so pleased with this film I still can't get over it. Enjoy!

This movie was awesome, I liked it better than the first. It was more action packed and it wasn't as grey as the other one. The werewolves morphing into the wolves was excellent and the vampires were more interesting this time. And of course my daughter is totally in love with Jacob!

Very good movie. It went along with the book very well. I enjoyed it almost as much as my daughter! Taylor Lautner was excellent as Jacob. You could really see the emotion in his face.

New Moon the newest installment of the Twilight Saga, was much more appealing than the first movie. The new director really was able to capture the romance between Jacob and Bella, while still keeping Edward in the mix with his ghost-like apparitions. I would have liked to have had more with the Volturi, but for the movie's sake, it was understandable that the scenes were brief. Love the ending, no spoiler here. Cannot wait for Eclipse in the summer.

My review title says it all. This is one of those movies that your girlfriend is gonna love but will leave you wondering when will it be over like 20 minutes into the film. The sappy love story of Edward and Bella drags on and Edwards need to push Bella away like in the first movie carries on so basically it's the same story over again. The action sequences are WEAK!!! but the little bit of special effects are ok. I recommend on waiting on the DVD.

I really enjoyed this movie. They kept real close to the book, only omitting scenes instead of changing them. I loved how they animated the wolves...It was just how I imagined them. I just have one issue with the movie and its the ending. I wasn't happy about the cliffhanger type ending and wish it was done differently but all in all the movie was fantastic and I highly recommend it any Twilight series lover!

The saga continues in New Moon! The movie stays true to the book. If you're a Twilight Fan you'll love the film. My husband who has not read the books enjoyed the film too. I cannot wait for the 3rd installment! Bring it ON! This is not a good movie for small children. Too scary & too long. All other's will love it.. The casting is wonderful. Kristen is the perfect Bella. I have enjoyed seeing her career flourish.

Twilight New Moon, quite possibly the best written book to movie film I have ever seen. The action, passion, excitement and drama all compile into an amazing film spectacle. The cast is absolutely perfect, Taylor, Robert, and especially Kristen Stewart live up to the hype, and the decision to keep Taylor was by far the only way to go! This film stayed true to the book and ended with the crowd wanting ECLIPSE right then and there!!!

I went to see this movie with my g.f and her 2 sisters her mom and my parents and brother it was an all around rang of ages and genres. For the most part the movie was very good the action sequences were very well put together and the love scenes were a little drawn out but again this is a guy talking and i am not a book series reader so u kinda figure it out. but for the most part it was an ok movie and i would watch it again when it comes out on dvd.
