Not as Good as Original

I will be honest, I went to see the movie with my daughter because we are both fans of Jared Padalecki from Supernatural..
We were both disappointed in the Movie remake. It was like a spoof of Jason and Not the original story. I agree with others there was way too much T&A and drugs.
This was not a good horror movie at all , Jason is an icon of the horror movie genre and this one did him no justice..
I just wonder if the younger generation knows what real horror is. It's not all the blood and guts which this one was ok on, but even that was too predictable. The music was no way near as suspensful as the original either. Nothing too rememberable in my opinion.
Save your money and wait for the DVD...
