This movie was phenomenal. It was filmed in such a way that it stays very close to each integral part of the book (which l hope the directors of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn follow this trend as well). Even though I am "Team Edward" (which as a 37 year old mom of two I find funny to say) I found myself rooting for Jake at times. Some younger girls were swooning when he took off his shirt and they all said "Sorta? Are you kidding?" When Bella said he was "sorta beautiful". I thought is was an incredible movie and I cant wait for the DVD so I can watch it over and over again. Come on Eclipse!

I loved this movie I can't wait to see the next one... I purchased my tickets in advance so I could see the first show.... As a Twilight fan this was so amazing I couldn't leave my seat for a moment to miss one line from the movie. I am so happy and would watch it over and over again as planned.
Go see the movie if your a twilight fan you want be disappointed at all....

Being a huge fan of the books, I was extremely disappointed in Twilight. It left out all the charm of the books. New Moon corrected the majority of this error! It stayed very true to the book.

I really enjoyed New Moon. I had to keep reminding myself though that it wasn't going to be exactly like the book. 2 hrs wasn't enough time. I thought it could have gone to 3 hours easily. A true fan would have sat through 10 hours if that's what it took to experience this books full essence. Rob was mesmerizing, during the short time he was shown I couldn't take my eyes off him. I've seen it twice and plan to see it again.

OMG - I am so glad they replaced the director. If Catherine Hardwicke did it again this movie would have completely suck. Best movie this year, can't wait to see what they do to Eclipse.
It kept so close to book, see it today - I can't wait to buy it.

the movie previews make you expect more action overall. i was disappointed at the lack of action surrounding the wolves all together. the movie barely gave a peek at what actually happens in the book. the fight scene with the volturi was awesome, but the end of the movie was hurried.
it also seemed like some of the lines were repeated a lot, which made for some boring dialog.

This is the best movie I have seen since I was born!!!! I love the romance conflict between Bella and Jacob. I really like how the other characters were choosen for this movie as well. Jane was amazing, and Dakota played her part very well. JACOB BLACK RULES!!!!!

I was a little disappointed. I am completely obsessed with this series of books, but the writing of New Moon was horrible - and cheezy!!!! People in the theater were laughing at how rediculous the diaologue was. Some important scenes were left out: Bella ripping out the stereo Emmit installed into her car and Edward stealing her pictures and the CD he made for her, the whole introduction and importance of the wolf pack was complete glazed over. And Alice?? She has a huge part in New Moon - the conversation Alice and Charlie have about Bella's state of mind disappeared. I hope Eclipse is better - and I hope Summit gets a new writer for Breaking Dawn.

I was amazed at Twilight and how the story differed from the book. New Moon was true to the story with all the drama, action and comedy expressed in the original story. I took my daughter and her freind to see it last night. We all 3 loved it and can't wait for Eclipse to come out. Now, I'm off to read the books AGAIN!!!

I have not read the books, but I have seen both movies. My main issue, what is with the cry baby vampires?? "Boo-hoo, I am going to live forever", "Poor me, I have no soul", "Waaaaaaaaa, my human died!" Suck it up and get a life, you sissy vampires!! It was good to see the werewolves and how they did things. At least they are embracing life and their powers and not going around crying about everything. I thought the "Vampires Diaries" TV show was full of cry baby vampires and then I had to watch this sob fest. I hope the vampires "grow a set" and stop boo-hooing about everything in the next movie!

I was really expecting this movie to draw away from New Moon's actual storyline, but wow....it actually came pretty close! I mean, they added things in there that most book ->film movie makers don't really think about, and I found it hard to transfer all that emotion and story continuity into the film, but they actually managed to pull it off! Other than the quasi-cheesy dialogue and Kristen Stuarts method acting, I think it was a pretty good film, even if it was 2+ hours long. I give this film an 80%.

The movie was a tad bit on the cheesy side. I love the Twilight series and all of the actors that were chosen to play their prespective roles. I feel like the first movie was done more true to SM. I very much liked New Moon, but it was not a better movie than Twilight. Definately Team EDWARD!!!!

This movie was AWESOME!! I thought it was better then the first one. Did however hate how it ended. And what was up with the terrible colored contacts the whole Cullen family was wearing the whole time, just thought it was creepy since it wasn't that way in the first movie. I mean in the book their eyes change like Edwards does. Oh well.......the movie was Awesome anyway. Cant wait till the next one!
